I was skeptical about this item when I ordered it. The negative reviews stated how the plate would arrive broken and the nightmare with returning it. I didn't have any of those problems. This gravy dish is everything I was looking for. It's large enough for the whole family and it's beautiful. You can buy a matching ladle if you want but I'm going to wait. Its color is amazing with no imperfections and fits perfectly with my Corelle Winter Frost White collection. Thanksgiving will be a treat this year. The finish is perfect and I highly recommend it. The plate is the perfect size to catch drips and easy to clean. This is a great gravy dish. Update 11-25-2016 I used this baby for the first time this Thanksgiving and it worked wonderful. It held plenty of gravy and worked great for the houseful of family we had. This was a great purchase and I recommend it.

Nice plain bright white and simple looking. When they said 8oz capacity they weren't kidding. With 1 cup of water in it it's filled to the rim! It comfortably holds about 7oz (or right between 3/4 cup and 1 cup) of liquid. To give you an idea of its size its about 8 to 8.5 inches long from the spout to the end of the handle, and 3.75 inches wide at the top opening of the cup. I think its nice sized, we never run out of gravy during a dinner for two. Also its a nice heavy weight not a thin flimsy product. Since its porcelain and not stoneware it has no black pits or other eyesores. Its easy to clean we've had it for about a year I can safely say it does not stain or hold odors.

Good looking set and the saucer has an inner rim instead of being completely flat like a plate. To me that means it doesn't slide around. The capacity is 24 ounces to the top of the rim but 20 ounces if you don't want contents to spill over the top while holding it. The bottom of the boat has nice decorative raised lines.

Great product. The handle does not transfer heat. I've had plastic gravy separators and they have always cracked because of the heat. This has not cracked and I've used it many times. I would definately buy this product again and recommend it to others.

UPDATE 3/8/19 Despite the initial break (The small crescent shaped break at the top rim near spout), I kept the separator as it was still functional. I used it yesterday and it cracked. I put it in the dishwasher to clean before photographing and when It came out of the dishwasher it had broken into two pieces. The glass is way too delicate in my opinion. I have another made in the US and it has lasted years, I had hoped this would be a worthy back up but it clearly failed. Update 11/5/2018: While I appreciated the light weight of the thin glass, it is fragile and after several uses, it somehow broke in the dishwasher. I deducted one star but perhaps should deduct more. I am not rough with my kitchenware and take great care and caution in their maintenance. Original review: Love this - it is lightweight/thin glass as other reviewers have mentioned but I'm not sure why that would be a negative - it makes for a lightweight strainer. The spout is low (some are too high and interfere with functionality). The double metal strainers are great for coarse vs fine straining capabilities. I find that I need to lift the gasket strainer to enable stock to pass through as it does create an airtight seal.

No mess, minimal wait for separation. Easy home made gravy. Cleans up in the dishwasher.

I have been looking for a large gravy boat with the dish attached but never could find what I wanted. This is a very nice gravy boat; it holds a lot of gravy so you don’t have to refill it every five minutes which is nice for large dinner parties with many guests. I epoxied the bowl to the dish so I don’t think it will be dishwasher safe. I used JB Weld epoxy according to directions so it might be OK in the dishwasher, but I will just hand wash it and not risk damaging the epoxy. It’s amazing the lengths I will go to have exactly what I want.
