Jabra Speak 510 10 Watt Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker (Black)

Using this for the last few weeks, good sound quality and easy integration with no additional software installation. Specifically good for office use having software installation restrictions Decent noise cancellation, a cooker screaming 4m away was not audible to people at the other end Would have loved it even more if it was in the 10K range

I have been in look out for a conference speaker for a while. Jabra definitely is a good brand and I had used some of their product earlier. Further, I had seen this 510 model with many of friends in office. So it came with some credibility and reference of a good product. The only challenge I had was buying a product that was design in 2012. I looked into the newer models like 710 and 750, which came at a steep price but could not justify the premium. The 510 model came with BT and integration with MS Teams and Zoom. So what else we need from a Speakerphone. I have been using this speakerphone for the last three months. My experience has been very positive. It's loud enough for a 10x10 room. The omnidirectional mike works great. Battery back up and BT range are very good. Overall a solid product and does the job unassumingly well. Go for it.

Using it connected via USB for online meetings(ms teams/zoom) voice. Works well. Happy with it so far. Occasionally the mute buttons does not work as expected. Sound quality is good for calls(not for music!). Helps avoid wearing earphones for a long period of time. The buttons on the device do help in answering/disconnecting/volume control and hence no need to switch to the meeting application. Have used it with bluetooth for phone calls and did not face a problem. Not tested for range/battery life. The length of cable is less than 1metre(90cm).

Excellent product. No body knows that I am on speaker phone during office calls !! Cristal clear speaker sound. Very good noise cancellation. No echo within 1-5 feet distance. Beyond that slight echo. Microphone works decently even at a distance of 10 feet. Work seamlessly with phone and laptop. Good buy for home office

Does what it is supposed to do. You will not regret buying it.

Pros: This device is meant for taking calls. Volume is absolutely good for group of five people and can work even with minimal background noise. Microphone works well. Cons: Although the sound is crystal clear and reaches the desired high with no cracks at all, at this price I expected the sound quality to be better with equaliser effect. At high volume the sound seems quite sharp to the ear.

Update after using this device for 3 years - Th device was not switching on all of a sudden but was getting detected in Jabra Direct software when connected using USB to laptop. I contacted the online support team over call, they simply declined to provide any kind of repair service for out of warranty device even on paid basis. Its like buying a costly device and then throwing it away if it does not work after warranty expires. There is zero support from the company on any kind of repair. I will have to use it like a paperweight now. Costly but serves best for its purpose, seamless integration with zoom and other conf softwares with Jabra direct software which is also used for latest firmware updates. Always install Jabra direct software before you first connect this speaker to your laptop/desktop for mute button sync with zoom calls. This was designed to be used in closed conference rooms so there is no noise cancellation as such and due to the omni directional microphone setup it would pick up even minor sounds at home while at work. Portable and have bluetooth option to connect with phone too. Point to note - Made in china
