Fill In Powder Medium Brown

Love this product. I've used this for years..I'm not balding I'm greying and this covers your scalp beautifully. A little goes a long way. I can go two days before I wash it out, before it becomes itchy...

I tend to overspend on cosmetics but I found this little powder on Amazon and I am amazed! For under $10 i got three years of a perfect brow powder. I don't leave the house without using this. Goes on easily, doesn't wash off in the pool, and looks natural. i don't do the micro blading thing, I personally think it looks overdone, and I don't use a pencil. Just a quick brush of this stuff works really well. And yes, it also works between touch-ups at the salon, although I find most of this stuff starts to feel sticky very quickly on hair.

Super amazing product, works well. No mess, no stain and it's very natural looks. A little goes a long way. It stays on for days until wash off. I will definitely buy again.

(This review addresses coloring the scalp to conceal thinning areas ONLY, NOT to covering gray hair. I've never used a fill-in powder to cover gray hair and have no idea how that would work.) This is the only fill-in powder product I've ever used other than a product that comes in a shaker bottle, excellent product but the shaker is not precise enough when using close to the face. I've learned from my experience with that product that these fill-in powders cover best if you choose the shade one step darker than your hair color. My natural hair color is light Ash brown, I use the medium brown in the shaker product, so I bought medium brown in this product. This medium brown is lighter, and true to my experience, not quite dark enough to give good coverage without applying more than should be necessary (which results in rub-off issues). Next time, I'll get the dark brown, and I'm sure that will work as I expect. As I've grown older I've also learned that shampooing every day is a sure-fire path to damaging my very fine hair, so I try to limit it to twice a week, filling in with dry shampoo if necessary. The shaker product I use stays in place from shampoo to shampoo, this one doesn't do quite as well unless I cover it with good jolt of hair spray. Not a real big deal but something I have to remember when applying. I've become annoyed over the inadequate case it's in. After a few uses, loose powder develops on top of the compressed powder, and that makes for a mess in the sink that has to be cleaned every time I use it. I don't want to blow away that loose powder because that's just a waste, I use that loose stuff on top. I ended up putting the whole thing in a small jewelry box to contain the mess, which takes up more room in an already over-full make up drawer, and it's just and annoying hassle that shouldn't be necessary. It needs a deeper case. Finally, the accompanying brush is HOPELESS and has been shedding from the very first use. It'll be bald before the product is gone. If you're going to put out a quality product, don't pair it with a gross brush that sheds all over that product! ICKY! Overall, I'm satisfied with the product (dismissing the error in getting the color right), but I'm docking one star for the fact that it doesn't stay in place quite as well as the shaker product I use, for the case that doesn't contain the loose powder that's inevitable, and for the hopeless brush that I'll replace the first time I'm in a store and it comes to mind.

This product continues to work well for me and matches my hair color.

I've had a small cowlick on the back of my head that shows a little bit of scalp unless I tease my hair over it, and it's always bothered me. I saw a product by Joan Rivers that might solve this problem but it was $30, and I didn't even know if I would like it. I ended up finding this fill in powder and it contains the same amount of product for a whole lot less money, so I decided to give it a try. I have very dark brown hair and I didn't know if I would need the dark brown or the black, so I first purchased the split pan that has both shades in it. It turned out that the black blends right in kind of softly, whereas if I use the brown and you are close up you can see it. Also the black is a neutral to cool tone and the dark brown leans a bit warmer and my hair does not have warm tones in it, which could be why the dark brown was more noticeable than the black. Now I don't know if this would cover gray, it's probably not the best product for that, it's more for filling in bald or thinning spots on your scalp so the scalp isn't noticeable which then also creates the illusion of thicker hair! I discovered that when I tried it on my part. The brush that comes with this is pretty bad. It sheds like crazy, but I'm not taking off points for the brush, you can always find an inexpensive dense brush to use instead. As far as application, you kind of wiggle the brush head (not the sides) into the product and then kind of stamp and wiggle it onto your scalp. This stuff has amazing staying power, and lasts until it's shampooed out. I don't see any transfer on the pillow case either, but if you get an itch and scratch your head where the product is it will come off some on the pads of your fingers and under your nails. I've read that some people also use this on their eyebrows, I haven't tried that, but if I do, I'll give an update. Bottom line: This does exactly what I had hoped it would, so I can highly recommend it if you're using it to fill in areas on your scalp where the hair is sparse.

Highly disappointed. Required to send damaged item back for refund, but it’s too messy for that. Do better!

I really like this product, much easier to deal with and just as good as true hair and a little less messy, the powder doesn’t seem to come off on my hands as easily as true hair. My only complaint is the application brush, the bristles keep falling out which is why this is getting 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. But for the value alone for the same product, I can get a similar applicator, although that does defeat the purpose of having an applicator come with it. I recently had some of my hair fall out because of traumatic events that happened this past year, it’s slowly growing back but wearing this has helped hide some embarrassing thinned out spots.

This product worked really well and definitely made my hair look a lot less thin because you don't see my scalp shining through now. My only concern when ordering the product was whether to go for dark or medium brown. After reading other reviews I went for medium brown and this was exactly right for my hair colour. It's quite an ash brown which means it doesn't have a warm undertone to it which I was pleased about. I have quite shiny hair and other people had mentioned the powder is a bit matt but I didn't find this a problem for the amount I use. I am really happy that I discovered this product and I feel a lot more confident when I'm wearing it. It's true that the hairs fall out of the brush as soon as you start using it but I was only really concerned about the product itself I can easily find another brush. I might try a larger brush in order to apply it more quickly anyway.

I have been an entertainer,I have also modelled as a guy with Buzz cut shaved head I needed a product that would darken my shave sideburns, this product actually would even work as a cover up for totally bald men, it is a power that once rubbed on skin because so natural looking that it could fool people that you have a shaved head with a shadow that looks like a hair replication tattoo,It could even shade stubble to give the illusion of a close shave face but that dark regrowth type look,this product also has lasted the whole day,I can still see the darker pigment still looking natural,unbelievably good

I use this to help blend my bio hair into my wig. It works really well. The pigment is strong, and the brush provided is good. It goes on easily. I’d like to see more product in the pot, it’s a small amount.
