Seriously great.
Tried this to add a little more โchewโ to my vegan recipes. So glad I did! Delicious. Great appearance and texture. Quality chunks. I shred/dice and sautee it in a little avocado oil before seasoning and adding it to a meal. Makes our vegan nachos taste ah-mazing. Pretty good value. One can yields enough (if finely shredded, which takes a bit of effort and time) to evenly cover my 12โ skillet; 2 big or 4 small servings for my kid and I.

Delicious, but way too expensive.
I tried this can of Jackfruit and it was my first time having any Jackfruit. It was delicious. I liked the texture better than canned Artichokes, and the taste was sweet. Maybe that's why it is called "fruit" because it has a slightly sweet, fruit taste to it. I just added a little Dash seasoning and ate it with rice. I will probably not order it again though, because it's expensive. I paid around $8.60 for a can. Canned Artichokes cost around $2.50 a can. If Jackfruit was the same price, I would eat Jackfruit on a regular basis, but I don't want to pay more than $2.50 a can. I'm guessing other brands are also expensive. It just must be an expensive item in general. Too bad it's not within my price range. UPDATE: I tried another brand that was cheaper but it tasted horrible. It's a shame that there are no affordable options for this product that also have good quality.

I just love jackfruit
I gave five stars for flavor, but it is really for lack of flavor. Jackfruit doesn't really have a flavor on its own. But because of that--it gets 5 stars. It sells a bit expensive on Amazon, but I live in a location that does not have it available. Be aware, though, that I have never received this product from Amazon without having all my cans dented. I have used these for tacos, BBQ, Reuben sandwiches, and nachos. Everything has turned out delicious. Though dented, I keep buying them.

Jackfruit- Meat Replacement
I bought this because I'm cutting back on eating meat all the time. After much research, I took a chance. It has the taste that is similar to artichokes and heart of palm, but very meaty texture. I rinsed the brine well, but still pretty salty. Had to remove small seed pods, but they were probably edible. I believe it will absorb whatever flavor you choose. Looking forward to future recipes using this brand. My first go was a "chicken" soup with brown rice and spinach in the instant pot.

Perfect sub for chicken, pork, or tuna
You can use this as a sub "meat" replacement for chicken, pork, or even tuna. It will take on the flavor of whatever sauce or soup. It has texture, so you feel like you've eaten a meal! It comes in chunks, some have shredded edges, easily use for so many different recipes. Each can is packed full. It's a great value!

Good alternative for vegans
Not super impressed. My husband liked it okay, but I didn't care for it. We are both vegans. The quality seemed okay, it just seemed a little pricey

Received a dented can.
I ordered two cans and one was severely dented. Denting causes the aluminum to leak so I couldn't use it.
