Hawkins Futura 2.5 Litre Deep Fry Pan, Long Handle Hard Anodised Kadai with Stainless Steel Lid, Flat Bottom Kadhai, Black (ADL25S)

I recently purchased the Hawkins anodized fry pan and it has truly exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, it heats evenly, and cooking on it is effortless. From everyday frying to quick sautéing, it performs perfectly every time. Durable, reliable, and absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

I overcooked a dish rather aggressively, by mistake, yet the vessels coating is sturdy and undamaged. Love the capacity and also the flat bottom. Handle is also sturdy so far. And the large lid is quite versatile and I use it with my other vessels too.

I am satisfied with the quality of the product and no qualms at all. It definitely is not a replacement of non-stick cookware as I had veguely thought. However, I wanted to do away with the risk of using non-stick cookware and hence moved onto this. Given a choice, I recommend using steel vessel over hard anodised. You have to cook at the lowest flame as a mandate and ensure that the vessel is oiled enough so that the food doesnt stick. If you cook at high flame the food gets stuck to the vessel and its a daunting task to scrub it off. However, not as daunting as cleaning up a steel vessel. I would recommend this vessel over usual steel utensils only if you want to save gas. Food cooks slightly faster and more uniformly than steel utensils. Otherwise I don't see a strong reason to purchase this vessel.

Best deep-fry pan I bought. I have bought and used all types of pan. However this is the best. No scratches, easy to clean, use less oil to cook, and also cooks faster. Even though it is expensive, I have used other Futura cookwares, they last longer and hence pay off. Will buy more from Futura.

This deep fry pan is good looking and useful. I find it is right in size because bigger size would be too heavy to support by one handle. stainless steel cover fits well

Bought this for my wife.. about the thickness of a cast iron skillet, holds heat almost as long, but heats quicker. Takes a little getting used to, but fill with hot water right after using, and it's easy cleanup after supper. May purchase the larger one later.
