Works with my Old Dell Monitor & AirTel Set Top Box
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because my LG TV went completely dead recently & right now don't want to buy another TV (trying to repair the TV, but that will take a long time & I had an old Dell LED 24" monitor with me, which I was not using for several years, so thought about buy this one to connect the AirTel Xtreme STB directly with the Monitor.My monitor only has DVI & VGA ports, so I needed an HDMI to DVI converter & this device completely served my purpose.There is no loss in the picture quality.DVI won't carry the audio data to your monitor, so make sure you connect the audio separately to an external device. My AirTel STB has an Optical out, which i have connected to my speaker system.Overall very happy with the purchase. The cable seems durable. Hope it lasts for a lifetime. :)

If you have old VGA setup, this will change your life!
When I replaced my old VGA cable with this Amazon basics DVI to HDMI cable in my old PC setup, it gives me superb quality picture like that we see in modern HDMI transmission through graphic card. The old VGA connection setup provided me poor picture quality even with my latest LG monitor. With this new cable my old PC seems like a modern one, superb picture quality. Thank you Amazon!

No return or size change policy is a bummer
I had ordered the shorted version of this cable not knowing its exact size was a bit shorted for my needs. Later when I though of changing the size I got to know that I cannot return or get the product replaced with cable of larger length. This being an amazon basics product and not having the option of replacement is a big disappointment and something unexpected from Amazon.Speaking of the product it is very durable and gets the job done
