Hey everyone! I bought this cooling pad a few days back for my 15.6inch laptop .This cooling pad is suitable for laptops below 17inch. Because of these reasons-5 fans for cooling (4fans with 80mm diameter and 1fan with 140mm diameter)-You can easily adjust the speed of all fans ,(which isn't available in most Cooling pads)-LED lights which each fan unit-Minimal operating sound-Excellent build quality with good quality Ventilated metal mesh-Double holder stand which can be adjusted for different heights.-Air volume : 76.35 CFM-Consumes just 4W voltage-1 year Warranty#FunctioningIt is USB powered ,the USB power cable supplied in the box is excellent, it is braided,Unlike some cheap cables which are supplied with other cooling pad. There are two USB ports in the cooling pad ,one for power supply and the other for data transfer.So one USB port always stays free.The 5 fans will surely consume a lot of your laptop's battery ,So it is always better to keep the AC plugged in.My laptop gets really hot when I play GTA V ,it reaches around 60 degree Celsius and my CPU gets throttled. I tested the same with this cooling pad to cool things off, As I tested the temperature didn't go above 55. A 5 degree decrease may not make much difference but atleast I am able to play games for much longer periods without the CPU or GPU getting throttled.#ConclusionOverall I didn't experience any problems with this product. It is somewhat better than my previous cooling pad in cooling and also the minimal operating sound is just what I wanted.The air it blows out is much more powerful. fans work fine for now ive just used this for 2 days so cant say much but definately improves airflow and reduces your cpu and gpu tempsIt does vibrate a lot tho altho its very silent and you cant hear the fans if you have your headset on.i wish the laptop holder was a bit lower because theres a lot of space wasted in that areaThe lights are barely visible when the laptop is placed on it but that wasnt one of the things i wanted in a cooling padoverall could be a good option if you want a budget friendly option for you 16,17inch laptop

The media could not be loaded.  Hi thereI recently got this Cosmic Byte Gaming pad , it is a newly launched brand with exciting products.In the Box you get -1) Asteroid Laptop cooler2) User Manual3) Braided USB to USB cableBuild and Overview - ----------------This Asteroid cooling pad is a premium one from cosmic byte and hence the Build quality is also very good , Front mesh grill is full metal and very sturdy, alongside ABS Plastic all around.on the left hand side we get 2 USB ports where 1 will be used for powering it on and another one can transfer data via connecting any usb device which means you don't loose any usb port on the laptop.also there are 2 sliders which controls the fan speed , 1 controls the top 3 fans and second one controls bottom 2 fans, so if you want you can keep only 2 fans on and vice versa .It has got 4 legs and can be adjusted to 7 levels of inclination for your perfect viewing experience and cooling at the same time.There are 4 80 mm fans along with 1 big 140mm fan which keeps everything coolIt easily holds my 15.6 inch dell on it , and it handles even the heavy laptops without any worry . The rubber pads makes sure grip is good.You also get a plastic panel behind the cooler which can be detached and installed at the chin to make the laptop even more secure as you can see in the picturesCooling and Fan noise ---------------------I have to say it is a very quiet cooling setup , even after running all the 5 fans at max speed it was still silent then the laptops internal fans . And even if you feel the noise is high you can adjust that via the fan speed adjuster.The Cooling is very efficient , with just 4 watts of consumption it can bring the internal temp to about 5-7 degree low and that results in good gaming experience .Overall it gets the job done very silently which makes it a good buy.Also the Led lights makes it look good in the dark , i bought the red color and it is bright.Without a doubt buy it

A decent cooling pad but not effective enough when it comes to playing high end graphics game on your laptop. I didn't feel much difference in cooling/air flow when i run games like GTA 5, Resident evil 7, etc. My 2 year old lenovo laptop still heats up a lot.Previously I had a single fan cooling pad from deepcool priced around 1k which lasted almost 2 years. I'm not sure about this product though. I don't get it why they put a fan speed control buttons for adjusting the speed, after all you have to keep the speed maximum to maintain your laptop's temperature. I don't think it is suitable for 17" laptop because some part of my 15.6" laptop is slighty sliding out from the pad. That was pretty disappointing. A 3 stars rating is worth enough for it looks only.For all those laptop gamers, i request you to buy a cooling pad with highest RPM & good quality fans(not the plastic toys). Number of fans does not matter & the speed is almost same or less in every cooling pad. If you purchased your laptop based on GTA 5 specification, its time to better upgrade your laptop or PC. Go for a gaming laptop with 7th generation processor & 10 series graphics card alongwith an air conditioner instead of cooling pad to keep your laptop cool.:):):)
