McCormick Gourmet Valencia Orange Peel, 1.5 oz

This orange zest is perfect for crumble cakes and i add it to breads too works great in anything really.

They arrived quickly. This is great as one of the ingrediates to make french toast.

Excellent flavor. I have used this in several recipes and have never been disappointed.

Decent enough, just not very strong on the orange peel flavor in my opinion. I have mainly used this for gluten free bread machine recipes.

Without a doubt, I am an Old Fashioned cocktail snob/aficionado. It takes me a about 10 minutes to make one, and it is worth every second! I mull the Valencia orange (No navel orange please),sugar cube, bitters and a bourbon cherry together, shake and chill, pour into a low-baller with a craft ice-cube, a heat-seared orange peel and another cherry on a cocktail toothpick. Here's the kicker - I use this seasoning to accentuate the citrus hints in our homemade Asada marinade. Well, I sprinkle just a dash of this on the Old Fashioned, and it takes on a whole new profile of deliciousness! Same in my wife's margaritas! Bottom line, if you need a hint of citrus and texture, add this to anything!

I’ve always gotten Penzies orange peel but decided to try this McCormick version and it’s great. My husband likes to use it in his coffee as well. Great option. Much better price.

I have always zested oranges (and lemons) by hand when required in recipes. Although this product is called Valencia Orange Peel, it is actually tiny pieces of dried orange zest. I As an alternative to zesting, I tried this product to speed things up. I found that It provides a modicum of zesty flavor but far less than the flavor burst of freshly grated orange zest. If you're in a hurry or don't have fresh oranges on hand, this product is a marginal substitute.
