Very good read. Kept my interest all through. However the ending, although very good, could have been more of a twist. I actually thought of a different ending that I think would have been more if a surprise. Overall, however, I would definitely recommend it!

A big fan of all Andrew Taylor's work. A gripping read. Atmospheric, tense and brilliant characterisation. Like the structure with present alternating with past. A clever ( though not altogether unexpected) twist at the close.

I enjoyed this novel immensely. It's quite different fro the usual run of thrillers. I couldn't out it down and it kept me guessing right up until the last page. The characterization is brilliant. I've read several of Andrew Taylor's book and this in my view is the best.
