Windy Camp Hero
Bought this tent for a family camping trip in a known campground and it worked fine. I was impressed by the easy set up and that packing it up was just as simple and that it actually fit nicely in the carrying case it came in without a problem. Second time out it really sold me on the tent itself. We were able to fit 2 full sized air mattresses in it without a problem and had enough room for bags etc. at the foot of the beds. We were able to sleep 4 and a dog comfortably without an issue. The bonus was that we ended up camping in a spot that was lakeside and super windy (Quite a few tents in the campground were in various states of collapse throughout the weekend we were there.) we had set up straight on the direction the wind was blowing in and the tent held up nicely. We had to hammer down the stakes once the first morning but that was most likely user error on our part as we set up in the dark. The only issue we had was that the rain cover that we had to use because it was also raining on and off continually caught the wind and was flapping hard on the tent so it was kind of annoying, however we realized the next morning that in the dark we hadn't secured it with all the Velcro straps onto the poles, which minimized the flapping considerably. We did not weather proof the tent or anything but didn't get rained on, if the rain had been harder it may have been different, but other than the general dampness from the humidity it was fine. Over all this tent was definitely worth the money for our needs. As amateur tent campers we found that this tent has so far been excellent for our first tent adventures.

Loved this tent
We bought this tent becuse of the size, height, and price. For a family of 3 that camps 1 to 3 times a year this tent is AWESOME. After reading some of the comments I was a little worried, but it held up our 1st time out very well. We had some pretty bad rain and 10 to 15 mph wind and there was very little rain in the tent! Easy one person setup too! Great for a family of up to 6, but seens a little small for 11. The porch is a nice extra, For the price it exceeded our expectations! 1st night was a bit muggy and I opened one of the windows and a nice breeze came thru among it very comfortable to sleep.

Clips on tent roof are backwards!!!
I couldn't give a full star, the reason is because when we got to the camping site at night the tent on top kept collapsing we spent 2 hours and it took 6 people to help and figure out why it was collapsing we read the directions and watched you tube videos and that's when my husband noticed the top edge clips that holds the poles of the roof were backwards. Why would they send the tent with backwards clips!!! We were tired and wet from the drive the kids were also wet from the rain, crying, tired and sleepy almost slept in the car with our kids. Until we gave it a last try. Also we should of set it up before leaving to camp but we live in an apartment there is no space to open a tent. After the tent clips was unscrewed and flipped the clips and screwed it on again the roof stayed open. After all we went through the tent was up FINALLY!!!!, It was very spacious inside we were 2 adult, 2 kids and a medium dog it didn't feel crowed also it rain for 2 nights and it was a little chilly at night but inside the tent was warm. If it wasn't for those clips that was installed wrong by the manufacture it would have been a full start and I would have a good time opening the tent. But no your manufacture had us upset your company or manufacturers needs to fix this problem ASAP!!😡😖

Quick and Easy setup.
We absolutely Love our new Alpha tent. My husband is 67 and I am 73. We both have mobility issues (our backs & knees). We were pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy our first setup was. We just spent our first night in our Alpha 12' x 9' tent. The tent also was given its first test by Mother Nature--it rained. We stayed comfortable and DRY. We have plenty of room --2 oversized cots, 2 suitcases, a TV tray, a "portable john," 2 chairs. We couldn't be more pleased. We are looking forward to more camping in the future. We highly recommend this tent.

Worst tent I’ve ever owned.
Worst tent ever. Do. Not. Buy. No our tent didn’t come with holes. It went up fairly easy but the instructions were severely lacking. We are seasoned campers but with a growing family on a budget we opted to upgrade to an 8 person tent for our family of 4. We are on a camping trip with my sister in law. The winds are horrible tonight. Her tent, a Coleman, is standing great. Ours, the one on this page, is flat. We were jolted awake as our poorly made rain cover was acting as a parachute and began to lift our tent up enough to unstake it and begin to collapse around us. My two young children and I retreated and we are now trying to sleep in the very hot car. We had to take it down and put heavy items on top to prevent all our belongings from blowing away. To say myself and my young children are traumatized is an understatement. This tent is horrible for any weather that is beyond a calm night. What A huge waste of money.

Mine is floppy and instructions are not good
I’ve used it twice, it looks floppy, sad like it needs more support. Both times I’ve tried to fix it for 45 min to an hour, very frustrating, annoying. Almost wanted to cry out of frustration. All the people we camped with couldn’t figure it out. What are the tent pokes for, driving me crazy trying to figure it out. It’s supposed to be easy and INSTANT. It was doable, lots of space. Can stand up in it. That’s why I got it. I looked up videos online. Didn’t help. Instructions are useless!! Will send a picture later.

Great size for the family!
Great quality and size for the cost. Easily fits our queen size air mattress cot, 2 dog beds, and a cooler. And there’s still a ton of room to move around. The extra zipper pockets inside are great for storage, and I literally set this up myself In 20 mins without instructions. I almost forgot to mention the pocket in the top middle that we hook the light/fan combo on, and it’s mesh bottom so we can watch our iPad while lying in bed.

Easy to setup
It's pretty easy to setup as advertised, as only took me for a couple of minutes for the first time. The qaulity looks decent although it's not very thick, but looks stable and feel warm, so far so good, will come back to have update later if needed. Also, I love the big windows to make the inside air fresh. The most attractive part to me is its spacious room, very easily to accommodate the whole family.
