Petmate Pet Cafe Waterer Cat and Dog Water Dispenser 4 Sizes

slightly surprising application- purchased this for my leopard gecko! it'd work great for any small-med sized lizard (skinks, BDs, alligator lizards, ect) and i find these particularly useful in hot, arid setups, where water bowls tend to dry out very quickly. easy to install, only dumped a little bit of water out trying to get it in the tank, hehe. ive heard no complaints from the gecko thus far! we'll have to see how durable it is, but considering where I put it I highly doubt it's going to see much wear and tear. dimensions are what it says on the tin and I wouldn't recommend it for anything smaller than a 40g- it'd just take up too much space!the finish is pearlescent and very nice. overall pleased with this purchase.

This container is cute, easy to clean and fill and refills itself just like it's supposed to. I gave it 4 stars because it was smaller than I expected, but it still works great. I would definitely recommend this for a cat or small dog.

Let me start out by saying it's TINY. I got it, guess I didn't realize quite how small it is. It's good for my 5 lb. cat though, as she doesn't drink a whole lot. Lasts about a week or two before having to fill it back up again. Doesn't spill and isn't too tall for my cat. Would recommend if you have a smaller animal, but not anything much bigger.

I wanted something to make sure that my cat always had water when I was out. This works very well for me. Having this little thing is very handy and I don't worry when I'm out. It easy to fill and use. Cleaning is a little harder and the only negative.

I didn't like this product. The color is great but the size sucks. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it for ANY size dog it looks like it was built for a Barbie's dog. However shipping was great and it came right on time.

My dog is small (shih poo) so this is just fine maybe a little small. It was missing a small white piece but I didnt want to bother sending it back.. I would suggest buying the bigger one!! It works fine, when water runs low it just refills by its self. No technology just science lol

I originally purchased this so that we could be sure our 2 year old cat would not run out of water when we went on vacation for a few days. It served its purpose well. Shortly thereafter, we adopted another kitten and it was helpful to have another water dish/supply for the time period when we had to keep the two separated as they got to know each other.We originally had a much more expensive fountain type water bowl that our cat loved, but the filter got clogged up and the motor wore down. I hesitated to purchase another one, and I'm glad I didn't. For some reason, BOTH of our two cats now prefer this little water dish and drink from it often. Every now and then my husband drops an iced cube in the dish and they both come running to check it out. I recommend as a great way to get your cat drinking more water; and not from the toilet bowl.

I actually only had to purchase one of these because one of my friends' ones melted in my dishwasher while I was kitten sitting for them. It's not made of the best materials (or so it would seem) and the top and bottom don't necessarily fit all that well together. When you're tipping it over, it often leaks from the space between the top and bottom and gets water everywhere.I'm also not a fan of this style of waterer for cats (or dogs) in general. They are rarely getting fresh water with one of these (just the stagnant water that's been in the tank). Hair and debris also get in the bowl and make it a little yucky. Ideally, you pet should have a fountain that circulates and filters the water or a water bowl you're changing at least once or twice a day to keep it fresh (depending on how many pets you have). When I kitten sit, the kittens rarely touch this once it is no longer fresh. They much prefer the fountain or the bowl I change the water in quite often (at least one or twice a day, sometimes more).But, if you are on a serious budget and need to be away from your pets for a little bit, this would suffice in making sure they have water the whole time you're gone. It's just not the healthiest of all options.

This is so cute. It is definitely smaller than I had anticipated, but works well for my cat and Jack Russell.

It's not the seller's fault but the pictures of this product make it look a lot larger on the website. They did give the product size in liquid volume and I should have known better. It's still cute, I'll just have to refill it more often. I only bought this because my husband is leaving and taking the larger one. our current one waters the cats for weeks. this one will need to be checked every few days. Still, it's cute, it should work as advertised and I should have checked the liquid volume before ordering.

I got this because my cat kept knocking over her water dish. This one was a great solution for the first few weeks, but then she learned how to knock this one over and make an even bigger mess! It is a great water dish if you have a cat who doesn't like to make a mess.

I bought this for my hedgehog as he was constantly knocking his water over. He hasn't knocked it over yet but I find if he kicks shavings into the dish, they can sometimes get sucked up into the bottle. Other than that, it's a great product!
