Best for launching pizza
Pizza dough slides effortless off of this peel. We tried this with a perforated metal peel before, and the dough had a tendency to get stuck, even though we put liberal amounts of semolina flour on the peel beforehand.We still use the metal peel to remove the pizza (although the wooden peel would work okay for this), and we use a turner and spinners while cooking the pizza, since it gets done in 90 seconds in the Ooni oven.

Perfect peel for my grill pizza oven insert
I used this for putting pizzas in my Pizzaque yesterday and it is the perfect length to keep your hands out of the pizza oven. Used some cornmeal on it and the pizzas just slid right off when I wanted them to.

It warps, avoid
I read reviews where they said the peel cracked or warped after washing, and I said "I'm smart, I'm not going to wash it, I'll just treat it with mineral oil and dust it off".Well let me tell you, it still warps even if you do not wash it. I think just the humidity from a pizza on one side of the peel was enough to warp it.I am trying to straighten it out in my crazy clamp setup show in the photo. It will probably work, but I shouldn't have to do this.

Already cracking and never been used
Received this peel lightly covered in saw dust, so I hand washed and dried it that evening. The next morning, having never been used once, it was beginning to split at one of the seems. Will be returning.
