Excellent product Used it on my nexon white Removed minor hairline scratches with one application But medium scratches requires multiple applications and more product Ineffective against dense scratches For minor scratched go with your eyes closed I was not sure about these products will work But this one is working fine and worth the money

Overall good product. Clean the surface first then spread the paste on small area around 6 inches with finger. Use a microfiber cloth. Apply little pressure and rub in circular direction or in multiple angles . If needed apply more paste and try 2-3 times if needed. Never use already used microfiber cloth on new surface for rubbing. For best results use polishing machine or pad if available. This product only works for minor scratches or giving shine to surface but it didn't remove deep scratches. This product cuts thin layer of clear coat or top layer of colour. After this product use good polishing compound or polish to complete the deatailing process.

I ordered the 3M 1 Step Finishing Compound specifically for my black car, expecting it to remove light scratches and restore gloss. Unfortunately, it did not deliver the promised results. Even after proper application and effort, swirl marks and minor scratches remained clearly visible, especially on a black paint surface where imperfections stand out more. The shine improvement was minimal and nowhere near what a finishing compound should achieve. This product might work for very minor touch-ups or lighter-colored cars, but for black cars, it’s ineffective and disappointing. Pros: Decent brand reputation. Cons: Does not remove scratches. Poor results on black paint. Not worth the price for finishing work.

First of all, it is not at all a scratch remover. Basically its just a finishing compound.It just removes the stains , scratched of other colors or spots. It does not removes any kinds of scratches. It just gives a minor finishing. After applying you have to properly wash and polish the surface. If your car gets color scratches from other vehicles or any other color scratches, it will work effectively, otherwise for surface scratches, it is useless, how hard you may try.

It works, but just a quick note for others :this isn’t a paint replacement. It can handle minor scratches, but not deeper ones. A simple way to check: run your fingernail across the scratch. If you can really feel it, this product won’t fix it, since the paint layer is already gone.
