My choice of hair appliances is Gold N Hot, but one time I was away and needed a flat iron so I bought a purple Remington at a CVS. It was the best flat iron I purchased. It did better than my gold n hot which I felt didn’t get hot enough. So when the purple one died and had to get another, and this product is hotter than the purple one I had.I have 4B hair and with a good blow dry, I only have to pass this through my hair one time to get it pin straight. Then I curl my hair in 8 sections and it’ll last me 10-14 days, depending on what I’m doing. Hair I smooth and has a nice shine. I use two different heat protectors because of the blow dry and the flat iron, which gets very hot.
