Adjustable Mandoline Slicer Manual Stainless Steel Blade Vegetable Potato Onion Tomato Slicer Food Kitchen Tools

Using this for light duty in the kitchen, mostly for thin slicing veggies. NOTE: I’ve used the $170 professional mandolins before so I like the mostly metal finish and build. Also, I know my way around the device and how to not contribute bits of flesh to the mix while getting 99.9% of the veggie through. Base is sturdy, adjustment is easy and locks in place which is great. The top plate flips up for easy cleaning, but it does have some flex in it, so you can get some thicker slices if you put too much pressure downward. Takes finesse if you really want micro thin slices. Blade is quality with initial use. Protective holder is useful but does not take the veggie all the way down, have to stop when it gets too low otherwise you risk getting the plastic shaved off. Overall I’m happy with it, good quality and works great for more pedestrian use.

I purchased this slicer in 2019 and found it to be well made and of excellent quality in materials. I never experienced any degradation in sharpness or any deformation in the blades! I've used it for everything from onions, tomatoes, to french fries. I did have a failure when trying to remove the blades (not entirely sure this was not my fault by not properly aligning the blade mechanism before attempting to remove it, But nonetheless, Vinipiak honored their lifetime warranty and sent me a replacement quickly. I am sure this one will last far beyond 3 years. I'll just say that when you compare this one to others priced twice as much, you cannot go wrong with this one I highly recommend it!

I have issues with my right hand so struggle with hard core slicing - potatoes onions Etc . This is easy to use , slices very evenly & good clean up . Not sure how much use ill get out of it , but when you need it you need it .

This is a very well made metal mandoline that is very easy to use and slices beautifully. It has reduced my work time so much and makes perfect even slices. Cleaning is a breeze and I appreciate the gloves to prevent injury very much. It is a well made professional kitchen tool.

Absolutely love this product. Slices tomatoes and onions perfectly. And you can adjust the thickness. You can also adjust it to slice perfect French fries. It has a nice sharp blade and includes gloves for safety....the blade is nice and sharp. Would advise using safety gloves when cleaning.....very easy to clean!!

I used to cut my chips by hand and they're always come out uneven, this can make them paper thin and consistent. Has adjustable thickness as well as extra option to make thin fries or even smaller shredded veggies. Very sharp, will slice quickly. It's safe but just the tools provided. It will bite you.

Read some reviews and they didn’t sound that great. But we bought it anyway. So far it hasn’t let’s us down and we use it 3+ times each week. Very happy with it

I like the quality of the mandoline, however, I found that the removeable julienne part is difficult to remove. Otherwise it works as intended.
