(Thin) Floorboard gap filler for home insulation, filling gaps in floorboards

I used this to seal the gaps between the floorboards before my new underlay and carpet were fitted. I was advised by the carpet fitter to block the gaps to prevent dust and dirt coming through onto the carpet. The product was very easy to use either with the help of the wheely thing supplied or the edge of an old membership card. Very quick and easy to install and the one reel dealt with all the gaps in my modest sized room. I took the view that if this thin draught excluder wouldn't fit in the gap the then gap was small enough not to be a probelm or to provide minimum dust ventilation.

Found it easier to push into floorboards with a rewardcard/debit card.

Easy to use and effective. I have previously used a floor filler which was very messy and cracked over time. This product was quick, effective and I can already feel the difference. For some of the smaller gaps I used the edge of the craft knife to ensure they were pushed down. Def would recommended.

It sounds like a good idea but the product keeps popping up and needs to be push down all the time

So haven’t fully installed yet but seems to do the job. Can pop out but I’m sure that can be resolved. Looking to buy the thicker. Seems expensive for what it is.

Very easy to use and lower cost then most of its competitors. Would buy the product again
