Safdie & Co. 16-Piece Marble Dinnerware Set, Porcelain, White

Things I was disappointed about: - There was a bit of "roughness" on the un-polished parts of the plates/bowls/cups, where the piece touches the table. It's like they were set on a dirty table temporarily, and they don't seem to be sanded down enough. I'm scared to drag my plates against the plates below them - There was a nick on the bottom of a bowl, but that was it. just a little piece missing and only on one piece. Acceptable for the price. -There are minor scratches on all the pieces, minus the cups. Wasn't happy about that for new plates. They didn't look used at all, just not 100% best QA. - The marble design is.... printed on? I couldn't tell by the images, and my phone wouldn't be able to capture the detail, but I was expecting that the marble was actually part of the porcelain and cured in. Not something that is able to be scrubbed off over time. The way the marble lays is the same on every plate, bowl, or cup. There is no randomness between each piece. That was a big disappointment, but they're still nice showpiece plates. Wouldn't have bought them if I had known this beforehand, but just not a big enough deal to go through with a return. They're still very nice. What I love: -Lightweight! Surprisingly so, and suspiciously so. I worry about how easy they are to break, but I've just taken care to be more careful with them. -Design. The design may be printed on, however it's still very beautiful and true to the image. -Packaging. The packaging was... unsavory and rough, but you could tell they really put as much effort as possible to protect every single piece. There was a lot of cardboard, a lot of tape, and how they managed to puzzle all of it into a single cube shaped shipping box is remarkable. I've seen better looking packaging for these tender items, but you definitely pay a lot more for that. I took the risk and it was worth it :) I love these plates. I have my qualms, but for the price it was a great buy. I've never bought showcase type plates before, but I'd assume if they fixed everything I had a problem with (true marble porcelain, no chips/scratches, cleaner and more padded packaging), I would be expecting to pay at least 2-3x the price - so this is great for what its worth. I just moved to a smaller place, and these fit perfectly in the cabinets. They look great, and are both dishwasher and microwave safe (important to me!). I like eating off of them, and they seem sturdy. It's clear they aren't 'real' marble, as the design is obviously a print on top of the ceramic once you've opened the package, but they still look really nice, and the printing has yet to chip/scuff/smear even after lots of usage and dishwasher runs. I like the look, and I am happy to serve on these to guests.

Very good quality the condition was perfect and normal sized. They are microwave safe and are alittle heavier making them more durable. Very easy to use and was and you can use them anytime so they are very versatile whether you use them for your house or a gathering. however you can tell the marble pattern is printed on with some type of machine.

My fiance selected this dining set for our home, & while I was skeptical about the value (easy to break, scratch, or fade) the product proved me wrong! After the countless meals & dishwashing cycles this dinnerware has endured, I am pleased by how they still shine, & how they look just as good as when we unboxed them. Very sturdy -- I dropped a mug in the sink literally today, & it shattered a glass that it landed on, but the mug stayed in tact. I'd highly recommend this set, especially as a fresh new look to dining that makes almost any food look and taste great!

I received this set as a gift from my niece and I love them, I would’ve given them 5 stars, but they’re just not as shiny as I expected , so I took a pic with my portable photo studio, but other than that they’re quite pretty and were delivered in tact. A very nice set for a dinner for 4 , and goes well with any colored decor. (The mats were bought from Amazon as well)

What a match if you have black/white marble or Corian counters! This is an awesome dinnerware set for the price. Accurately described on Amazon website. They have a good porcelain feel. They arrive in a short amount of time (PRIME) in one small box (approximately13"x13") and customer service is great! If there are any issues, such as shipment damage or chips, they will quickly make it right. Keeping it "real"...these are not fine grade chinaware, which is extremely costly; but you get a lot for the price. Therefore, expect to have some blemishes on your set (tiny dimples or very minor production blemishes. But that will not deter from the functionality or the look. Just remember you are not paying the $500+ cost for perfection either. These are dishwasher and microwave safe. Obviously these fit in standard home dishwashers, but they also fit nicely into portable/tabletop "mini" dishwashers! Love 'em and recommend 'em!

I got this for my sisters birthday because shes also getting her first house really soon! I am in love with these and might have to order myself some as well haha. I opened up all the packaging to make sure everything stayed in one piece and they did! It was all packed nice and neatly. They are really beautiful pieces, they are nice and thick doesnt feel like they will break very easily, they are really great quality and for only 27ish bucks i feel like its a great deal for how many you get. Definitely recommend :)

I love the look of this dinner set....but the finish is poor. The plates don't feel smooth in spots, so I'm worried about staining and perhaps moisture getting into the porcelain. And yes, porcelain... 100%... so the dinnerware is very fragile, somewhat thin around the edges too. Perhaps these aren't for everyday family use with kids? But maybe, a mature couple who are particular on how they handle their stuff, even then, I'm worried that I'll see chips within a couple months.

Would have loved it more if it was a small cappuccino cup with saucer instead of a mug. Still a good set nonetheless!

I just moved out of my parents place when I got these plates, I ordered them because I could not drive and did not want to walk home with plates and bowls in my hands, so I bought these, as I liked the pattern, and they still serve me well, besides an 'incident' with a rowdy guest, I have had no chips cracks or damages to these plates and will likely order more if I ever do damage them
