Good quality - grip material is a good balance of plastic and rubber
I don’t know much about the brand but decided to give them a try. I wanted some general purpose pliers that won’t scratch surfaces like door handles, appliance parts etc. and these work great so far! The plastic protective grip isn’t entirely plastic. It has some malleability and rubbery grip. The hinge is spring loaded which is nice too. They are very slim and lightweight despite being fairly long (over 8” for this model). The price was reasonable and the joint is adjustable so I think they’re overall a very good value! I added some detailed photos so you can see the materials a little better. The only downside is the packaging is in Japanese but there’s a trick - take a pic of the packaging then highlight the text in the photos app. Copy and paste the text into google translate and bam! Google will tell you what it says!

Nice Set of Pliers!
First of all you have to realize the jaws are a hard plastic so they will slip on things like shower head install and virtually anything with a smooth slippery finish. These pliers were not intended for those purposes! You need some type of plier with a soft rubber jaw cover. These types pliers definitely do have other purposes however. My original set were IPS PH-200 (purple vinyl grips) but the replacement jaws were very hard to find so I ordered these and am happy as the quality! IMO it is 2x the quality of the other plier set plus these pliers have a rubberized coated on the handle rather than the cheaper vinyl grips of the other. They also have a spring in the head to open the pliers up when using which is a nice touch. Overall I recommend these!

Looks Like it'll Do the Job
I bought these to loosen--not tighten--electrical connectors. They will be good for plumbing fixtures too. This size is too small for opening jars. These pliers are a good size for PL-259 type UHf connectors and type N coaxial connecors. I like the slim profile. It's probably not a good idea to use the wire cutter feature. These pliers aren't meant for high torque. I like the spring loaded slip joint. It holds the adjustment. I also like the design of the plastic jaws The pliers that I received were clearly repackaged returned merchandise, but I have no issues with the condition or quality. One of the jaw inserts was loose in the package, but it was simple to install. Since I cannot read Chinese, the attached display card is useless. Someone who doesn't know how to use slip-joint pliers probably doesn't need these.

Perfect soft-jaw pliers
These pliers are fantastic. Why do I write that? They are supremely comfortable in my hands, with excellent grip level in the palm and a sure grasp on the collars I'm turning. They yielded a snug connection with no marking. They have replaceable jaws, though my limited initial use have shown no signs of wear. And strangely, they look good, which is not important, but makes them enjoyable to pick up and use. I have found this to be a high quality tool that works great, and I'm thinking of buying more to keep in more than one toolbox.

Grips without marring
These pliers will grip items without scratching them. Useful for faucet aerators & similar round objects that need to be tightened or unscrewed.

High quality - helps for tighten instrument cable ends - still needs a little help though
Got sick of using pliers and plumbing rubber washer materials to tighten my guitar cable ends. Don't know why they always come loose even when purchased brand new. These work okay but still need a little help so I found putting painters tape on the plug then these can get a good enough grip to tighten the plug so it stops loosening up all the time. Wish they would make some with rubber grips specifically for this task. Looking into some small rubber straps.

Is it 4 or 5 stars?
Great set of pliers. Feels sturdy, looks aesthetic (subjective). I don’t remember seeing the spring loaded feature in the description. That was a nice surprise. Packaging was decent. Handles were dirty but Can’t complain for the price (11 USD at the time of writing) 2 things I didn’t like: 1. It was advertised in blue but what I got was yellow. 2. I’m 50/50 on this one only time will tell, but I’ve included a picture which is the result of pliers first use. It was an electrical connector on a 30 year old car. The connector came off great but so did the plastic teeth on the pliers. So the magic question….is it a feature designed to release tough connectors without hurting them…or ?

Well made and useful Pliers. Quality varies a bit.
These are really useful and (usually) very well made Pliers. I have had several pairs that bind and do not open and close freely. Usually they work great and do not have any visible amount Oil in the Joint. On the Tools that have had a “bind”, they have had varying amounts of oil. If the bind was severe, they had a lot of oil. Slight bind, small amount of Oil. So, someone has checked these and Oiled the Pliers that have a bind or a catch. Otherwise, nice Pliers. The internal spring is nice. The spring does keep the Pliers in a “Handles Open” position. A latch or some way to keep them closed for storage would be useful; even so, I like the spring.

Tsunoda are excellent pliers (not just for the price), made in Japan. Excellent material quality and quality control - on all the Tsunoda pliers that I have purchased so far.

The white teeth are a harder plastic not a silicone. Seem to be of a good quality. Easy to adjust, nice grip. Although not a soft grip, dipped plastic. Worked great for what i use them for, would still reach for the knipex first, however they were too long in this instance.

I was working on my antique sewing machines and cringed everytime I had to use plyers to loosen a screw, I mentioned it to another sewing enthusiast - she recommended I try these. What a relief to know I have not damaged the metal- I highly recommend these for delicate or important metal work.
