Contrasty, but still great.
Nice film, a dab contrasty, perhaps even murky. But a good look. This is respooled Eastman 5222 XX cinema film.

Great film stock
I enjoy using this film. I primarily set it at 400 iso and process myself in D76 developer at 1:1 ratio. The blacks are amazing and the highlights hold up very well. Think this film is great for most purposes including street photography and portraits. It has a natural grain structure and renders very sharp images. I like the tonal range, has more contrast without feeling contrasty. This is a pro level film.

Excellent black and white film
Excellent and rich blacks. Good contrast. Now my favorite black and white film. I know they just released a 120 version and saw a few people post shots that are jaw dropping.

Timely Delivery
I used this roll of film to photograph cosplayers at an anime convention. I can't wait to see how the photos turn out once they're developed.

This film is way overpriced on Amazon. You can find it for half of what Amazon charges with a quick google search for other vendors. The film is amazing. I don’t know how to quantify the results. The contrast and images just come out so different from any other b&w film I’ve ever shot before.
