Definitely a good battery. I have an IPhone XR, so the 8 year old battery it came with wasn’t doing well. This newer one works a lot better When i replaced it, the old battery was at 74% capacity. When it’s below 80%, it makes a lot of apps just freeze or suddenly stop working for a bit. In my case, it was mostly Google maps while I was using it to get around. I only replaced it a few hours ago and I’m already noticing a huge difference. All my apps work, and it appears to be charging faster. Of course, Apple does have a notification now when I open the battery health saying it’s not an “official Apple battery” which doesn’t bother me. I’d rather buy the same part for $30 versus $90 cause it has the Apple logo on it. Just something to keep in mind if it will bother you, as this will happen with any Apple tech when you don’t install an official Apple part. For anyone who hasn’t done this before, you will need a heat gun of some kind (some other reviewers used hair dryers, I used a heat gun from a mechanic friend) and a thin piece of flat metal to get the screen off. Absolutely take your time with this, cause if you don’t, you will break the screen, heat gun or not. There are also cables behind your screen that connects to the motherboard so be careful of those when pulling it off. Also, if you have it, use some rubbing alcohol and q-tips. There is some pretty serious glue holding the battery in place, putting the q-tips soaked in the alcohol along the edge will help soften the glue/degrade it so it will be easier to pop the older battery out. Admittedly, you could technically use the heat gun for this as well, but I’d advise against it since having it directly on any electronic battery can end badly. My only complaint about this product, is the cable that connects the battery to the motherboard is about 1-2mm too long. This makes it difficult to get in, but the seller does provide some really good metal tweezers that will help with this a lot. Overall, it’s a good product. Also cause I saw another review mention it, any battery you get for a replacement part will be charged around 50%. This is just a safety/law thing in the states. If they keep them fully charged they are more likely to get damaged from lack of use while they are in storage/inventory. Doesn’t just apply to phones, but laptops and various other lithium batteries. Also, for anyone getting rid of the old battery, staples (at the time of writing this review) will take it and recycle it for free as part of their tech recycling program. This includes bloated batteries (they just need to put those in a separate bin due to the fire hazard, so make sure to give it directly to a staff member if it’s bloated). The daily limit in terms of tech recycling at staples is 20 items and you can get points for it that go towards coupons (if your into that). Highly recommend making sure that any lithium battery is disposed of properly due to the chemicals and fire hazard the old ones can possess

This battery has been a great replacement for my iPhone XS Max. It arrived in good condition and fit properly during installation. The battery life has been noticeably better, and it holds a charge well throughout the day. It’s nice having the extra capacity without having to replace the phone. Overall, a solid replacement and good value for the price.

Not an easy job on apples end. The glue that holds the battery in place is very strong and you risk puncturing the battery when prying on it. The new battery doesn’t come with glue that I can see so leave the old adhesive when installing the new one other wise the battery will rattle on the phone case. I would back your phone up to icloud before you attempt the repair in case anything happens. The battery drains very fast. When I started this review I was at 36% im now at 26%. If you like your old ios platform and do not update your phone like me take it to apple. This battery is aftermarket and the phone does not recognize it is an oem replacement. You have to update your software to the latest available to complete the battery repair. I could not get the screen up with the tools provided I ended up using a razor blade to pry it up. Take your time and don’t rush. I would recommend a different battery though this one is pretty bad.

rewriting my review because more testing showed me that this battery, in my short time with it, is working very well. first off, i don't think the iphone displays the correct %.. I've had the phone idle for days and it stays at 100%, but then once I use it... it'll drop 30%+ within ten minutes. so I believe because it isn't an official battery, ios cannot reflect the correct % which isn't a huge deal, but something to keep in mind. if you're going to be spending the day with it.. just make sure you charge it for a few hours even if it says it's at 100%. not really fault of the battery but instead the whole apple operating system's fault for not being compatible. also just had the operating system (ios) saying it had 30% bat left, and the next day it was turned off due to the battery being dead... connected it to the charger and it came back on with it saying 10% battery charge... so ios definitely has issues with properly reflecting the correct battery % which is completely iOS's fault. i was able to record, using the memo app, 9 hours of audio recording when starting at 43% charge. i'm also able to play a good 12+ hours of youtube video via safari. i think it's probably because safari will only play 360p video since the iphone is so out of date. keep in mind, this phone can't use any apps because it doesn't get updates anymore and apps don't support it. only safari works for me. without safari, this iphone would be almost completely worthless. i am however using it for audio recording via the memo app and that works fine. depending on how long this battery lasts, i may buy another for my iphone 6s and iphone 5s.

New battery is working great. I now have a battery that last all day. It was challenging to install but I watched several YouTube videos several times and wrote down the steps and even then I ran into some challenges that I had to figure out like the battery removal of the tape didn’t come out like the videos showed. So I had to just carefully and slowly pry the battery out with the plastic tool that came in the kit…. But prevailed and it works great…

All the tools that I needed came in the kit and the battery had more power than the last one that I paid five times as much for a guy at the mall to install for me. I highly recommend this kit

I swapped out my old battery with this one, and it's like a brand new phone. The 24300mAh capacity is obviously way more than the original, so the battery life lasts noticeably longer. I get a full day easily with regular use. Installation was straightforward with the included tool kit, and everything fit perfectly. No software issues or weird battery drains so far. For the price, it's a solid upgrade that breathed new life into my iPhone 8.

Maybe I got a battery that had been sitting in inventory for a while, but it did not hold a charge any better than the six-year-old battery I had. Returned and refunded

Great battery! Lasts a long time… I let it go way down before charging. Five months later It’s still reading 100% efficiency and lasting four days if I’m not overly active. Look at many different YouTube videos before doing install. I did heat gun and had to make a tool for the initial opening of the phone. Careful not to crack the glass! And the screws can be tricky but the rest is fairly straightforward. Make sure you have the right model # (press twice on the model number in settings to get the real model reference.

So far so good No real instructions to fallow Had to go on internet to get information Never did figure out what a couple of blue film things do therefore never used them. iPhone works fine for now

Au début j'ai fais l'achat pour ma manette ps5 edge. Car la charge est très faible. Je me suis vite rendu compte qu'il n'est pas compatible vue la taille de la batterie,est plus petite que les manettes normal... Sur ce côté j'ai été très déçu. Mais ayant une manette classique je l'ai changé pour l'essayer. Je suis très surpris de la durée de la batterie. Je suis satisfait de mon achat et je le conseil pour les joueurs qui game durant de long moment. Donc ne pas acheter si c'est pour la manette ps5 egde pro. Ne faite pas la même erreur que moi.😅
