S15 Window Film Daytime Privacy and Heat Control Mirror Silver 15 (Dark) - 36in X 12ft

We have six large windows in our living room that gets morning and early afternoon sun. This is our first year in our home and we didn't know what to expect, but even with the blinds closed, the room was hot in the Florida sun. We decided to try this. We were nervous about how it would look. We didn't want a mirror look on the outside even though woods are behind us. We also didn't want the windows to be too dark. We are very happy with how it looks. My pictures show three windows with film for comparison, all windows with film and then the outside. There is a reflection outside, but it doesn't look mirrored. There is more of a reflection inside than before. As far as helping with the heat, it really has made a big difference. I still close my blinds until the early afternoon, but there is not hear pouring out of them like before. I probably could leave them open, but I am trying to save on my electric bill. The room is quite cool now with the film and the blinds closed in the morning. We also put a film on the kitchen window. I don't like it as well there because it is a small window and it definitely looks darker. It keeps the heat out though. Also, that window has a broken seal and the film has made it less noticeable. Installation was pretty easy, but it was a two person job because our windows are large. We ordered three rolls. We are very happy with this product.

I purchased this for my garage. I live in a hot climate and our garage routinely got above 100 degrees in the hot summer sun. Good: This stuff is quality and if you follow the directions, it will look great. Bad: Plan on spending way more time cleaning the windows that you think you need. I thought I was starting with relatively clean windows, but my first application looked poor because there were lots of tiny little spots on the window that were very hard to see. Luckily, I had ordered enough to have a couple of do-overs just in case. Main advice: If this is your first time doing this, be sure to order enough to have 1 or 2 do-overs while you get the hang of it. I'll update at a later date with how well this lowered the temperature in our garage.

I have definitely noticed that the room doesn’t feel as hot as it used to and I hope to save some money on the electricity bill for the AC, let’s see if I the next bill comes it slightly lower. Daytime privacy also works as expected. I deduced 1 star for the ease of installation l, I appreciate everything that came with it to make it as easy as possible but the clear foil separation is a pain.

We have a summer home with several west facing windows. The house had always been rented until this past summer. We were appalled by the amount of heat the west facing windows let into the house. One bedroom was 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We bought this film to reflect the heat. It does so successfully which saves on AC costs and prevents fading.

1. It needs a good spray bottle(not a cheap one. That hurts your hand if you have big windows) that sprays soapy water continuously with pumping. 2. You would need a second person. That second person will make this job SO MUCH easier. 3. This product gives you the tools you need(cutter, squeeze). 4. You would need to have a sprayer and soapy water, and a scotch tape and....... Read instruction from the window film box. In the pictures, left side is filmed and right side is the original window. It still gives good transparency, but tint is good enough that the room is not hot anymore! Those rooms get brutally hot with the sun during the day, but with this films on, we don't even use blinds anymore. This is an absolutely amazing product. I recommend it to anyone. (You still need to spray lots of soapy water on the window AND on the film before stick it on the window, and squeeze it well to get rid of bubbles). By the way, you stick the film INSIDE of the window. Not outside. Great product. Totally worth the money for brutal Summer heat. Now, I would see if it helps to keep the heat indoor during the Winter.

Works great! My rv is so much cooler now! Not super easy to apply so do a practice run to get the feel of how it applies. I suggest getting more than u need even tho it looks like a lot there’s a lot of waste Cutting to size

Overall, reasonably doable for an amateur. Two different areas of imperfections in the film that cannot be pressed out. One about two inches long and one about 4 inches long. They look like a human hair but they are actually imbedded in the film. We will try to ignore them because it is challenging to do it once let alone pull the bad piece down and do another piece in its place. You cannot see the imperfections until the film is up on the window.

Time will tell on his stability just installed recently not too difficult to put on the glass but if you’re gonna do it yourself or this will save you a lot of money compared to having it done professionally and it’s not that hard to do

Order this to stop people from going by and looking in the windows. Install just as directed. Take your time and watch the manufacturers videos on YouTube. My wife who is a carpenter by trade installed the two window films in under an hour.
