Bought this to use in a router flattening sled. The aluminum base and steel rod/rail are nicely made but the bearing could use some more development. The manufacturer says it is for all types of machining centers but the bearings are weak so I doubt if it holds up with hard use. The ball bearings are held in a plastic race and I knocked 2 or 3 out of their race when sliding onto the rail. It comes with 5mm 0.8 x 20mm socket head cap screws that are too long so I had to go to my local hardware store to purchase 10mm long screws. You better be accurate in your hole layout as these do not like mis-alignment.

The holes are not aligned to same line.

Product seems okay but it is definitely a return. There are scratches around all the screw holes, some sawdust on it, and I have a set of handle screws that don’t fit anything. I’m guessing someone put them in the return by accident. It will work, because I need it to, but I’ll buy from another seller next time.
