Really good quality for a low price!
Really happy with this, worked awesome for my W204 Saloon. These are the ones where you have to push the dipstick in until you feel the black tip hit the bottom of the gearbox pan, the dipstick does not go all the way in. It only goes partially in. This is completely normal as these are for multiple vehicles and work on all of them. The material actually holds up really well and doesn't get damaged like my old one that I bought 5 years ago! Really impressed with it, and would happily recommend it again and again!

Works well, feels abit flimsy.
The plastic tip feels still and flimsy, takes finessing and uncomfortable forces to reach the bottom of the transmission. Used it about 10 times, it stayed intact.

Essential tool for many old Merc owners
It is what it is. Does the job it was bought for. Just make sure you know how to check your Gearbox fluid before doing so.

Not compatible with my vehicle
Still in package, being returned, as can see it would not fit. No message to say that before purchase. We get messages on other items if not compatible. Pity

Does its intended job
The dipstick was longer than I needed for my Mercedes but it did the job Only thing I would suggest is that you ever uses this, beware not to force this dipstick into the tube as you might break it. Using gently until the dipstick bottoms out (you will feel the resistance as it will not any further), and take out to check the level it does give you the two readings at 25 deg c and 80 deg c, which depends unpin the engine temperature. I suggest that the gearbox level should be checked with engine running and in N position

Cumple bien su función. El único inconveniente es que viene enrollado (como no puede ser de otra manera debido a la longitud) y la punta de medición llega in poco doblada. Hay que enderezarla una vez abierto el paquete.
