Works pretty good. Not as nice as a carnival quality but the kids love it and im happy with it

I was so excited when I got this machine this morning. I just spent the last three hours trying to make cotton candy for a bridal shower tonight. I don’t know how anybody had a good experience with this machine. There is so much wasted product that you have to chip off each time. The sugar and other pieces after they melt dripped down into the lights that heat everything up and burn and smell of course. It was extremely hard to get a fluffy cotton candy without little balls of melted sugar. It was near impossible to spin it and keep it away from the very hot center that the floss spins out of had so many rejects I even made a mountain in a bowl of all the stuff that I had to scrape off the sides each time I wanted to start a new stick. I guess if I had to find something to complement, it would be the included striped sticks worked better than the other two types that I ordered to go along with it and that’s about it. My children enjoyed eating the rejects, but it’s nothing that I could serve to anybody. You are only able to use one scoop at a time and it makes about a handful of cotton candy. You have to do two or three scoops to make it resemble anything that you would purchase at a fair. For me the cost and the time it’s just not worth it. Also, the black paint on the spinner chipped off while I was using it I sure hope that didn’t get in any of the ones that I was able to create. All I have to show is a dozen mini ones, which won’t be enough for the bridal shower, but I’m so tired of standing and cleaning and chipping away all the wasted sugar that I’m done. We’ll try to return it. Thought I could be the cool mom that brings fun snacks to VBS or bridal showers, baby showers… but I’m not doing this again. The bowl that slides down and on it has a huge gap between it and the base where all sorts of broken pieces of candy fall down it and make a huge mess.

My son would not stop asking for a cotton candy machine. This is perfect for a birthday party or if you’re having a couple people over. It does overheat sometimes so if you’re wanting to make over 15 cotton candy cones then this probably isn’t the best one to use. It comes with 5 different sugars is large quantities which was awesome and it came with so many cones. It was nice that we didn’t have to buy those separately.

Just isnt what I hoped for definitely not for kids under 15 kinds sketchy more or less just throws hot liquid sugar. We tried it 5 or 6 times and ways. Maybe user error but with directions being followed and videos watched with no actual success. Well very little
