this would fit better on a bed with wood at the foot as it needs something to attach to my husband has a divan so the only thing to attach to is the caster underneath the bed which works but not really suitable. in effect it is strong enough to pull yourself up if you have the upper body strength to do this.

This was a lifesaver when my Dad got sick. This handy assist handle made it so easy for my Dad to sit up in bed, and adjust positions. I honestly think it helped my Dad get up and moving around faster than if he didn't have it because it gave him more independence. Plus, it saved my Mom and I from having to manually move him.

This simple little device was like the answer to a prayer after back compression surgery. Simple but can take part of the pressure off the spine as you get up. A great assist to my platform tempur-pedic bed with electric head elevation. Absolutely recommend it you need a simple inexpensive assist in the morning.
