What size will fit a 6 year old?

It depends if your kid is slim or more solid like mine. A size 7/8 is what I bought for my son at 6. Plus they have pants with adjustable waist bands if it's too big.

Are these uniform approved?

Check with your school. I didn't buy them for uniform purposes, just casual wear for my child
