I was immediately impressed with my purchase based on the detailed instructions that came with it. So often these days, products come with no instructions; if they do, they are frequently sketchy to the point of being useless. But this ElekTek product was of good quality, and with the instructions, I had it fitted to our refurbed table lamp in no time at all. I can highly recommend buying products from this seller.

Bought this to replace an oem item that had seized up and couldn't be removed intact. New lampshade sat waiting. Ordered 26th December and arrived one day later. Amazing delivery service from Amazon which is just as well because none of my local DIY stores had a replacement in stock. Easily fitted and the holder even had a small grub screw for an undersized screw fitting. All done, new lampshade fitted and a happy wife 😂😂😂

What a cool little do-dally. I was worried if mine was 10cm or 1/2 inch, but the 1/2 inch was correct - and there was even a little screw in it that you could use to tighten the fitting if the threads on the old lamp were too small, so no need to worry after all. Lots of nice colour photos on the instructions, much simpler to install than the old plastic junk it replaced. Solid and looks great, shipped to my mother's in Ireland in 2 days, which is great for Ireland. 11/10.

Needed safety lamp holder as replacement a perfect replacement slightly lower than original good thing and easy to wire up

Looked a nicely made product. However I couldn’t disassemble it as the fixings seemed very tight /seized. I gently tried a wrench, then applied more force until the product was destroyed, and was consigned to the bin. So a complete waste of money.
