Pangu 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Grey with White Stripes, 4 Bowls, 4 Dishs, 4 Salad Plates, 4 Mugs, Zen

I love this porcelain dinner set. They are beautiful and each item is handmade. So, no two are exactly alike. But, that just adds to their charm and value.These are my primary day-to-day plates, bowls and cups. They seem to hold up okay in the microwave but I think I’m taking a chance each time I microwave one.They break easily if dropped onto a hard surface from even 8 inches and certainly from a foot or higher. So, having used these fir 2 or 3 years I think I’ve broken at least 2 dozen individual items Fortunately I’ve been able to buy additional boxes of these beautiful sets, and, I think I’m learning to be more careful, but I think I’ll break more in the future.They do chip if dropped, but they don’t chip that easily. They are much more likely to break into several pieces. So, I think that at this time I have no chipped plates, bowls or cups.I’m sure that a lot of work goes into each of these items, and each is obviously crated individually by hand., so don’t expect perfection. They are a little like the interior of a Rolls Royce so that if the wood dashboard paneling has to be replaced, a craftsman from England has to install yiur new dash, or, if you can afford it, you just buy a new Rolls Royce.

Giving four stars because it could’ve been packaged better. One of the small plates arrived broken. All in all though it’s a beautiful set. I love how classy yet simple the pinstripes are. The mugs are smaller than expected though. Definitely tea cups. Almost not worth putting coffee in, lol. Would purchase again, broken plate and all.-----------------------------------------------------------------Update: Updating my review from 4 stars to 5 stars for amazing customer service from Pangu. All contact that i've had with this seller has been quick and satisfying. They also sent me a new plate, without even being asked, to replace the broken one "because it's what they do" which i greatly appreciated. Arrived in one piece and now my set is complete. The set i purchased was beautiful as it was, but add my experience with Pangu during this process and i will definitely be a customer as long as they are around.Also worth noting: The mug, though looks small, can actually hold 8oz of coffee with no problems, and can also hold 10oz if you're like me and willing to live life on the edge with a full-to-the-brim cup of joe, haha.

It took me a long time to find dishes to replace my everyday dishes. I wanted something different I looked around for months and I kept coming back to these Pangu Zen dishes. I am so glad I bought these dishes, they are so beautiful, very Zen and very different. I love the tea cups the best, as I am a tea drinker and they are so perfect. They remind me of Pottery Class in High School bc they look hand made and very expensive. They also are great in the microwave, not hot at all which was important to me. The customer service is amazing. I had 3 cups that looked a little different in color, like a little more brown on the rim & handle ( but not broken) and the company sent me out new cups and they never asked me to send back the other ones. They answered me right away and took care of what I wanted. I had no broken dishes in the shipping. I'm a happy customer.

The set is pretty and light weight (true to color) but several of the pieces were broken upon arrival. However, when I called to let them know, I was pleasantly surprised that they immediately reimbursed me the full amount due to the broken pieces. Otherwise, it's a pretty set.

Bought 3 sets of these to replace our every day dinnerware. They are beautiful with a modern and stylish design. Love the color and the pinstripes. And so far they are very sturdy - stand up well to regular washing in the dishwasher and use in the microwave. One of the bowls arrived broken (one item out of 48 isn't bad), and the company replaced it immediately. We're very happy with our new dishes!

We bought 2 sets of this dishware. One arrived broken and was replaced. During use, multiple pieces are chipped without cause. I was using a plate today and noticed a piece of the plate in my food. How does that even happen? Could not find a way to contact the supplier and return period has expired. Now I need to completely replace two sets.

I ordered 3 16 piece sets.. everything arrived on time & very well packed.. nothing broken..I contacted the seller about 4 of the salad plates.. they were lighter colored & looked very bumpy.. like the porcelain clay wasn’t smoothed out before fireing..they promptly replied & are sending replacements.I love these dishes..beautiful!

Beautiful set bought as a gift for my son. Stylish and different.The only problem was one coffee mug arrived broken, and now the set isn’t available so I can’t even buy him a replacement.
