I was dealing with extensive hair loss over 10-11 mths following several times being under anesthesia last year, various procedures, medications, stress to my body, etc. I tried numerous product lines that promised a decrease in shedding but absolutely nothing worked, some even made it worse! I found this product about a month and a half ago, and IT'S ACTUALLY WORKING! I have seen a dramatic reduction in my hair loss and it looks and feels fuller! It smells wonderful and has all the good things you'd expect, like good amount of suds, good conditioning, etc. Excellent product in my opinion!

This is my 3rd time purchasing this duo because they are so awesome! I lost- well had to shave my head a couple years ago from chemo hair loss. As it grew back I wanted to make sure it would not thin because my hair is fine and thin anyway from having dreadlocks for 10 years about 25 years ago. It hasn’t thinned yet and I've been using this for over a year now. The scent is fantastic and I’ve been complemented a bunch on how good my hair smells when someone hugs me. Highly recommend and great price!

After my carpal tunnel release surgery at the end of September '20, I noticed that I had a lot of hair fall. I panicked, then I did a bunch of research and learned that stylists suggest using a product with biotin or keratin in it. I hopped onto Amazon and started reading reviews about various products. This one has really good reviews and so I went ahead and ordered some. The bottles are smaller than how they look on the picture. I don't know why I was fooled since it has the fluid ounces right on the description. But somehow, when they arrived, they seemed a little small to me. Anyway, I started out using them every time I washed my hair, about 4-5 times a week. I also bought a very wide toothed comb and used only that (no brush) directly after a shower, along with some hair tonic. The shampoo isn't the nicest-smelling stuff. I'm not quite sure how to explain the scent. It's not floral and it doesn't smell like perfume, but it's not entirely unpleasant and the smell doesn't seem to linger after I rinse it out. * Please note that it's really important to use the conditioner, massaging it into your scalp, after using the shampoo. The shampoo feels like it really washes off any oils in my hair, so conditioning is vital. Now, 4 months later, instead of using this every time I wash my hair, I use it every other time and switch it out with my regular shampoo & conditioner. My hair fall has decreased dramatically. I'm so relieved because I was freaking out a little bit. I'm only 51. I've recommended this product to friends and family and would purchase it again.

My hair is a 2b naturally curly, and have been using the curly girl method for about 10 months. I’ve been using this Biotin shampoo and conditioner set for about 7 months now and am still currently using this product. My hair was dry, thin, damaged, and I had abnormally large clumps of hair falling out at the start of using this. 7 months later, here are my observations of this shampoo and conditioner set: SMELL of BOTH Shampoo and Conditioner: I don’t particularly dislike or like the smell, because it’s not fragrant or strong. Usually, I apply a different leave-in conditioner to my hair after every wash anyways. This works well for me because I AM trying to avoid strong fragrances and perfumes in my hair while I’ve been trying to recover my hair. SHAMPOO Review: A small amount of the shampoo lathers up REAL well. I’m surprised that it doesn’t have sulfates because it sure suds like it does. But however the ingredients without sulfates are lathering up, what matters is that it’s gentle enough but cleans well – and it does do that. Sometimes, when my scalp builds up too much oils though (3 days and onwards), the first shampooing is not as sudsy. After I rinse, the second shampooing I apply is SUPER sudsy. And you don’t need to use too much shampoo. Play around with the amount to use. Even when I had long hair, I only needed about a quarter size. Now that my hair is shoulder length, I use maybe a nickel size amount or less of shampoo. Although I’ve tried the low-poo or no-poo curly girl method (with expensive non-biotin hair wash), it’s just never worked well for me when I don’t wash my hair more than every 2 days. NOT washing my hair, or not having a clean enough scalp is actually what makes my hair fall out more, in my opinion. So, choosing this shampoo was rather risky at first. I didn’t know whether or not it’d be too drying or too stripping of my natural oils if I were to shampoo every 2 days like I wanted. I STILL CAN’T TELL YOU whether or not about that though because I’ve been using a different nourishing leave-in conditioner every time after I wash my hair. What I can tell you is that after 7 months of using this biotin shampoo, my hair has been falling out less. It took maybe 2+ months for me to actually notice less hair falling into my drain. It wasn’t a dramatic difference though. It was super slow and gradual. I took pictures of my drain every time I washed my hair just to see the difference in hair fall. If I were to compare day 1 and day 80, I’d be able to tell the difference. But I would not be able to tell the difference between day 30 with day 40 or something like that. When I look in the mirror now, there aren’t glowing bald spots or widening scalp gaps staring back at me – and I’m extremely happy with that. CONDITIONER Review: I’ve been using this side-by-side with the biotin shampoo. Because it doesn’t have silicones, I use it on my scalp and only my scalp… for a reason. This conditioner is just not smooth enough (because it doesn’t have silicones), nor does it coat my hair evenly enough unless I use a much larger amount than a quarter size. I don’t want to waste the conditioner, so I only use a nickel size amount in my scalp, then a different non-silicone conditioner throughout the rest of my hair (one that’s cheaper that I don’t care about wasting or using more of). I figure there’s biotin in the conditioner too so it’d be good for the scalp. Since it doesn’t have silicone, there isn’t much buildup to the scalp. And since I wash my hair every 2 days, I really don’t have much buildup to worry about anyways. However, I have used this conditioner throughout my whole hair for a short while in the beginning. I don’t really like it. Besides feeling like I’m using way too much conditioner from this bottle and thus wasting it, I just didn’t feel that it detangled or smoothened my hair enough. Once again, I use a leave-in conditioner after every hair wash, so I can’t say how this biotin conditioner is in my hair after drying. FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall, I do like this particular brand of Biotin shampoo and conditioner. The biggest highlights for me after using the set for 7 months is that 1. the shampoo feels cleansing enough if I wash every 2 days, 2. the shampoo feels gentle enough for a curly girl (meaning it doesn’t feel like it’s stripping excessive amount of oils cuz we curly ppl have hair that’s drier than straight-haired ppl with no exceptions), 3. the conditioner doesn’t build up in my scalp, and 4. it makes me feel better to have a non-silicone biotin conditioner that I can apply directly to my scalp. After 7 months of using this, I don’t want to try a different brand because not only am I tired of trying and keeping track of different products every few months, but because I feel like this does work on me. Full disclosure though, biotin shampoo and conditioner aren’t the only things I’ve been using to help with thickening and healthy hair. I’ve also installed an Aquabliss shower filter, which has helped my hair immensely as well. I’ve also been using an Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo and Ryo anti-hair loss shampoo/conditioner once a week or so, which I do not know if it has been helping, but I’m using to just finish it up. So really, I’m using this Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner set 2 times a week. I also haven’t applied a heated hair dryer nor any heating elements to my hair for 10 months now, so when I look at my healthy hair, I do think it’s really due to allowing my hair grow undamaged from excessive heat. But the thickening of the hair and less hair fall is probably from the biotin and the filtered shower water.

I like many things about this product- especially the natural ingredients. This is just not the right product for my fine curly hair- it took all the curl right out. If you have course coiling curls this might just be the product you need, especially if your hair is dry or frizzy.

Okay, so...I bought this without having any high expectations about it because my hair loss is a combination of genetics and an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. So, despite all of the positive reviews, I actually didn't expect it to work for me. Boy was I wrong!!! It's only been two months of use and already my hair is fuller and falls out a lot less! My hair loss was really bad and it was seriously starting to affect my self esteem because as a woman we're "supposed" to have long, thick beautiful hair (stupid societal beauty standards, but nevertheless) and I just didn't. My hair was so thin, I had seriously considered shaving my head and just wearing wigs, I had even already bought a few wigs. I had also already bought some minoxidil, in case I chickened out on shaving my head. But I was worried about the risks of negative symptoms from using minoxidil, so I never started using it. Now it seems like I won't need the wigs or the minoxidil thanks to this shampoo and conditioner. At first I only bought the shampoo, and it seemed to stop the excessive hair fall, but it also made my hair VERY dry. So the second time I bought it, I got the shampoo and the conditioner and I'm so glad I did! The combination of the two led to a normal amount of hair fall, increased hair growth, and the conditioner moisturizes my hair and has actually helped my curls. It has been amazing! Now, my hair isn't as thick as it was before it started falling out, but these products have made a NOTICEABLE improvement in my excessive hair shedding and my hair thickness. When I say my hair loss was upsetting, I mean it was very emotionally and mentally distressing for me and completely rocked my self esteem. This shampoo and conditioner has genuinely helped my hair loss and my self esteem. I don't have before and after pictures because I really didn't think it would work, but I really wish I would have taken some. If you're on the fence and you're suffering from hair loss, just take a chance and give it a try. I'd give it, at the least, 2 months before you start to see actual results, but if it doesn't happen that fast, maybe give it a little longer. I can tell you, honestly, I will not be switching to a different shampoo and conditioner anytime soon. I have a pretty good feeling that with continued use, my hair will only continue to thicken back up.

The peppermint scent is refreshing without being overpowering, and it leaves my scalp feeling clean, cool, and invigorated. The shampoo lathers well and doesn’t leave any heavy residue. The conditioner is smooth, lightweight, and makes my hair feel soft without weighing it down. Together, they give my hair a fuller, healthier look. I’ve also noticed less breakage and shedding, which is exactly what I was hoping for with a biotin-based formula. Another thing I appreciate is that the ingredients feel gentle yet effective, and the bottles are a generous size, so you get great value for the price. If you’re looking for a strengthening hair-care set that supports growth, adds volume, and feels good on the scalp, I definitely recommend this one!

Admittedly my first order arrived leaky, but I'm not holding it against this product because it's WONDERFUL. Okay, the scent of Rosemary is a huge plus for me, and it is very strong, but that being said, the scent doesn't last, like at all, after rinsing. I've been a Cosmetologist for over twenty years, and can be something of a product snob when it comes to hair care, but this stuff impressed me. Not for any growth properties, which it may or may not enhance, it's too soon to tell if there is any positive impact; but for its absolute lack of scalp irritation. Wow. My scalp had been itching for over a decade (thanks chemical process induced dermatitis!) and I have tried simply every dang product out there, and this, ladies and gentlemen, worked. I don't know if it will be a permanent resolution to the issue, but for right now? The relief is a miracle. My only negatives? It's not really moisturizing, but as it's not really over drying either- I can deal with it... and the price point is really a bit high for the size, don't let the pictures here fool you- go look at the same size package (in ounces) at your local store and you'll see what I'm saying. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to buy it until my scalp decides to hate it, because the relief is palpable. My hair is shiny, doesn't seem to be experiencing breakage or frizzy ends, and gets nicely clean. The conditioner- if you're interested, doesn't seem to be acidic enough to really seal the hair cuticle as much as I'd like, but seriously that's not a deal breaker. Will definitely buy again, and again.

I've been using the Biotin shampoo and conditioner exclusively for about two month. I have fine, silky hair which seems to have become finer/thinner as i entered my 40s and I can honestly say Biotin has made my hair feel and look thicker. I have a dry scalp so previously used anti dandruff shampoo (on amd off) and I would say that the Biotin initially made my dandruff much worse but this seems to have resolved now and my hair is pretty much dandruff free. I do slightly wonder if the thin hair issue was caused by the anti dandruff shampoo I've used more on than and off for 20 years and it's only resolved now as I've exclusively used something else but who knows, my hair feels and looks thicker and that's worth the price to me anyway.

This leaves my hair feeling extremely soft. 100% recommend

A couple of years ago I lost my hair from cancer treatment, however, to my dismay I suddenly started to lose it again recently! It started with quite a bit of hair falling out in the shower and I was also experiencing noticeable thinning and hair loss on my crown and also at the back of my head, near the top. I had read about these products online and although I was sceptical I had nothing to lose...aside from my hair! ;) I have been using Biotin Shampoo and conditioner now for 3 weeks (I wash with these products just twice a week) and I am very impressed with the new hair growth and volume. The Biotin shampoo and conditioner hair loss treatment for thinning hair is a fantastic duo! The products not only make my hair feel lovely and soft, but the hair's condition is also picking up again. I am astounded at the amazing results in such a short time! Thank you for this incredible product, which I highly recommend!

This smells incredible and my hairdresser said she can see new hair growth. Perhaps this works as they say.
