I purchased the 7.5” x 5” small bag 3 years ago. I have been using it 3-5 days a week since. The Meister bag is a very high quality bag. The leather is beautiful and tough. I especially like that the seams have no piping which makes for a smoother hitting surface. There are steel rivets at the top which reinforce the top loop. After 3 years of pretty constant use, the bladder developed a small leak in the valve. I ordered the replacement bladder. The instructions were excellent and the replacement went smoothly and easily. I can’t say enough good things about this bag. Thanks Meister for a great product.

Well made for the price but it’s a little heavy and I like a thinner leather but not a bad bag.

So I waited almost 3 years for this outstanding speed bag to fail. It’s far better than the store brands costing twice as much. Fast. Balanced. Durable. You need a rigid platform to rebound or no bag will work well. I built this one, it won’t even shiver. So a speed bag is to build hand eye coordination and speed. As important, to train you to defeat the blink reflex when an object is coming quickly at your face. I use it about 8 or 10 minutes per week as a part of my circuit. It’s been outstanding. They will ALL leak air over time, get over it. I just mounted my brand new one. If I can do this at almost 70 years then you can too. Don’t age gracefully. Age with massive effort. Just stop shopping and buy this bag. Cheers!

Large size is perfect for me. Amateur. Fill to 5 pounds of air not 6 pounds. Bladder inside filled the leather bag perfectly - not off center. I recommend.

I didn’t realize there were multiple sizes, so I chose the large size but didn’t know how small it would still be. It turned out to be a tiny boxing model, not the large ones used in schoolyards. I returned the item because I was misled by the "Large" label. For reference, this one was 11 inches tall, while the large schoolyard models are 16 to 18 inches tall before inflation. The little girl did try it, and it seemed sturdy, but she absolutely wanted one like her friends’. Hers was tiny in comparison. :P [Français] Ce ballon-poire semblait très robuste, visuellement et au toucher. Je voulais un ballon-poire pour une petite fille qui joue avec des ballons-poires dans une cour d’école. J’ignorais qu’il y avait plusieurs tailles, alors j’ai pris la taille large, mais je ne savais pas à quel point ce serait tout de même un petit modèle. C’était un tout petit modèle de boxe et non comme les grands modèles utilisés dans les cours d’école. J’ai donc retourné l’article car je me suis laissé berner par la mention Large. Pour information, celui-ci mesurait 11 pouces de hauteur, alors que les grands pour les cours d’école font entre 16 et 18 pouces de hauteur avant d’être gonflés. La petite l’a tout de même essayé, et il semblait robuste, mais elle voulait absolument un ballon comme celui de ses amis. Le sien était minuscule en comparaison. :P
