Works perfectly!
Pros: It cleans coffee stains extremely well. Not caustic or extremely hazardous. After use a good rinsing is all that is needed. It's very economical. There's 120 tablets in the container and cleaning is only needed every few weeks. Cons: None, unless you need something that works in 10 minutes. I bought these to clean a narrow-mouthed steel thermos we use daily for brewed coffee. In the past I used another cleaner which is no longer available, and have been looking for another cleaning agent for a couple of years. In the meantime, the inside of the thermos had turned black from accumulated stains and deposits. Nothing I have tried cleaned it well. I avoided a couple of products that may have worked but were covered with warnings strong enough to encourage one to wear a hazmat suit because they were so caustic and poisonous. This stuff will "irritate the skin and eyes" but is far less toxic, so I thought it was worth a shot. Before bed I filled the thermos with very hot water, leaving a little space at the top, and dropped in one tablet. After a few minutes I shook the contents thoroughly, then topped off the thermos and sealed the lid. The next morning I poured out an ugly brown stew. After rinsing the thermos thoroughly, I found the inside to be perfectly clean, except for a little remaining buildup around a small rim at the bottom. A little brushing would likely have removed that bit. I'll do that next time. Highly recommended!

Works great!
I bought it to clean my cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker. First, as others have said, there were no written instructions in English. I did peel the corner back to get to the second page and still no directions. There are pictures as directions, but of course they don’t depict my coffee pot. I went on You Tube and watched a woman who talked in liters. Again without anything pertaining to my particular coffee maker. But I did the liters to cups math and put in a tablet and a half. It worked, but not well enough so I dropped another tablet and a half in the basket and filled it with water and ran it again. Then two rinses and it looks brand spanking’ new. I’m extremely happy. Next time I will start with 2 full tablets to my 12 cup coffee maker. Then two cycles with just water. If that doesn’t work I’ll up it to 3. Highly recommend this product. Just have to figure out how to get it to clean my Yeti’s. Maybe boiling water into a tablet sitting in the yeti and then a run through the dishwasher??

Works well
We have coffee pots at a church that have never been properly cleaned because the opening of the pot is so small we can't get inside the pot to thoroughly clean. These tablets made a big difference - not perfectly cleaned but a drastic improvement. Since these pots have NEVER been properly cleaned I think its going to take several trys over time to get them totally cleaned . I did use them on my home coffee pots and they worked fantastic but my pots can be cleaned by hand thoroughly so when they get dirty its only one layer of coffee grim to clean not years worth like the church coffee pots. I think its a great product over all...

Works. Works well. Easy to use. Rinses completely.
This is by far the easiest AND most effective solution I've found for cleaning a drip coffee maker. For several years, I've had a maker with a tall stainless insulated urn. It is very hard to see how clean it is, and harder to scrub all the nooks and crannies. I drop one of these tablets into the filter basket and turn on the machine. I keep the urn out until the basket is filled higher with the solution than it ever fills with coffee, then I put the urn in. The filter basket drains, and the brewing cycle completes. I wait about 5 minutes. I rinse out the filter basket. I pour out about half the solution in the urn. What comes out is somewhat blue and PLENTY brown. I scrub out the urn. What comes out is nearly black. I look inside the urn and it looks like new. If it doesn't, I repeat the process. I've never had to use more than 2 tabs, and that was only once, when I let it go 4 months between cleanings (normally monthly for me). We make 1 pot on a weekday and 2 on the weekend for our family. My last cofee maker I threw out after 10 years of faithful service because the coffee oil residue had become so built up you couldn't make a decent pot of coffee anymore. If I'd known about this stuff at the time, I'd probably still have that coffee maker. If you do the math, this stuff is incredibly cheap. Each tablet is about 20 cents. Most households will only need one every month or two, so this jar will probably last you 10 years or more.

Surprisingly multi-purpose.
Not only do these clean my coffee maker, but also they are a very fast and efficient toilet bowl chemical! I kid you not. Add one tablet to the bowl, let it dissolve, a quick swish with the brush and done!

Don't mistake for Airborne... :)
The stuff seems to work ok, but there is NO written instruction on the can, only diagrams. I tried putting a tablet in the empty coffee basket but it didn't melt hardly any of the tablet. So I tried using a filter to capture the water and soak the tablet; that worked, but the liquid going into the pot seemed very lightly colored. So I got angry and just threw 2 tabs in the pot and filled it with ultra hot water. After about 15 minutes, brown crud came bubbling to the top; I knew I had a winner. It required a little brushing to get all the goopy glop but the pot looked brand new (inside) when I finished.

I use this two ways, one is fill up a sink with hot water and crush one or two in depending on water volume and leave stuff to soak a couple of hours then rinse and the other is to fill up whatever I am cleaning with hot water and leave it to soak. This is fantastic at cleaning coffee oils off plastic parts and also metal, this gets the dreaded fairy liquid taste out of my stainless steel coffee mug. You get so much in a tub its really good value for money.

Our coffee mugs were stained pretty badly and washing them did not help. Putting a tablet in and filling with hot water worked really well. You just have to be patient and let them sit for a while (30+ minutes) and shake them during the time you are waiting. Our SS coffee mugs came out like new.

I got these after buying a second hand coffee batch brewer, the machine had a stale coffee smell and taste. I tried cleaning with vinegar, sterilising the dripper and jug but couldn’t get rid of it. After one use of these the machine was like new, no smell or bad taste was left. Will be using it regularly and will buy more when I run out. It’s the perfect tool for the job!

Perfect for a stained coffee travel mug - just cut one tablet in half (they're sized for entire coffee machines) and drop it in the mug with boiling water. After 20 minutes or so, give it a good scrub and it will look good as new.
