No better or worse than what commercial bedding plants come in
For years I’ve saved all the pots and trays whenever I bought bedding plants. Like everything these days, quality has become disposable and they don’t last, or they tear getting the transplants out. So I figured as long as these were at least that good, it would be worth it. They are certainly worth it. Even if they only last one season, for the price I’ll have gotten my money’s worth. They hold an adequate amount of starter and are deep enough for all types of seedlings, although I prefer to start tomatoes in something bigger because they take a while before transplanting. When filled, just place them on whatever tray you prefer and let nature do the rest. They’re thick enough to do the job but thin enough to massage the seedling out of the pod. The plant tags are a much appreciated little bonus. I expect to be buying more in future.

Nice little starter trays. Good value. Easy to use. Study enough to start seeds.

Very thin walls, but unbeatable value – Fills exactly 3 standard 1020 trays
I bought this pack to get a jump start on my spring planting. For under $10, you get a massive amount of cells (216), but you need to know exactly what you are buying so you aren't disappointed. These are not heavy-duty, rigid plastic. They are the thin, vacuum-molded plastic type (similar to the disposable nursery pots you get with annual flowers at big box stores). If you pick up a 6-pack filled with wet soil by just one corner, it will bend. You absolutely need to place these inside a solid bottom tray (like a standard 1020 tray) for transport. The math works out perfectly. These come in strips of 6 cells. A standard 1020 flat holds 12 of these 6-packs. Ironically, the thinness is actually a benefit when it's time to transplant. Because the plastic is flexible, it is very easy to squeeze the bottom of the cell to "pop" the root ball out without damaging the seedling. Rigid pots can sometimes be harder to un-mold. The drainage holes at the bottom are sufficient to prevent waterlogging. The included white plant stakes are a nice bonus—they are basic, but perfect for labeling your peppers vs. tomatoes so you don't mix them up.

Flimsy but Effective
These seed trays are great for starting seeds but are fairly flimsy. When combined with a firm plastic tray, these cells are perfect for starting nearly any seedlings before growing season!

material un poco fragil pero util.

The smaller trays on top are the ones I ordered and the larger ones on the bottom are the size I usually prefer. They are relatively sturdy and work quite well for what I need, but would definitely like them to release 2” trays instead of 1.5” ones.
