Purchased to drink loose leaf tea. Pretty colors, nice ceramic. Does the job.

Smaller tha. Expected but attractive

Making tea in this cup is really nice, the cup maintains an even temperature for about 20 minutes without using a cup warmer. It is really beautiful too.

The mug is very pretty, and has a decorative cover and infuser. Smaller pieces of tea do get through the infuser, so I would use a finer one for most tea. The handle is great to hold, very comfortable. Only problem is that the saucer arrived shattered. I used it without that. This issue was resolved satisfactorily.

While this set is smaller than you would think( maybe 6 ozs) from the photo, you have to remember it’s not an everyday study type of ceramic breakfast mug. It’s beautifully made, the colors are a nice combination of deep red and gold. I would say it’s an elegant china tea cup. It is light like a porcelain product instead of the heavy ceramic you would expect for a “mug”. That being said, I liked it. One caveat, it says to hand wash so I would assume not microwave safe either.

Love these cups. Nice the inner container for putting the tea bags and the lid while it steeps. Like the different color choices. Got a couple of sets for xmas presents and kept a couple of extra to have on hand for spur of the moment gifts. Perfect for the tea lover.

The item itself is nice, well made, and advertised correctly. Still, be prepared to be disappointed because the item is poorly packaged and is likely to arrive damaged. The return options require it be sent back which seems fair if the whole thing is unusable. If just a part broke they still want the whole thing back in order to get refund/new product, ie. likely going straight to a landfill. This means if you’re worried about sustainability you get to eat the cost. Just disappointing. Wish I could get just the broken tea infuser replaced since that’s going in the trash.
