Great Gun for the Price
Great siding gun for the price. In the past, i did a lot of siding, worked for a few companies, usually always using the higher end guns (Makita, $400-$500). But always had problems with the higher end ones, given, they were worked a lot harder & older, but would double fire, or nail would get stuck, which seemed to always happen when it was 102 degrees out and on a 30' ladder. Anyway, I just do projects here and there now, so didn't need a real high dollar gun, so ordered this with a box of the Freeman 2 inch coil nails. Have only had a chance to do one job, but it worked flawlessly, not a single problem, it almost seemed strange to do an entire job without having some sort of problem with the nail gun, but this one just flat out worked. We'll see how it's doin in a year, and after a lil more abuse, but for the money, seems to be a good gun. ***UPDATE 09/27/17**** Have put a little under a case of nails through this gun, oiled before every use, and now it's leaking air terribly, all my research leads me to that there is an O-ring (or O-rings) going bad. So now I have to Order a $35 kit, and hopefully I can get this gun taken apart and O-rings replaced, and hopefully that fixes the problem. Concerning that I haven't even been through a case/box of nails and this gun is out of service. Hoping I don't end up kicking myself for not buying a higher quality gun. ***UPDATE 02/10/18*** Ordered the O-ring kit, and started taking apart the gun, there was a large square ring on the back of the gun that had come loose and not seated properly. I lubed and adjusted it in back into position, and just like that, the gun started working again. I have to admit, i wasn't oiling it before every use. Since then, I bought some Marvel Mystery Oil for air tools, and have been using it religiously, and haven't had a single problem since. Just ordered another case of nails, Hitachi this time, as the Freeman seem to leave a lot of wire with the nails on the siding. Overall, i'm happy with the Siding Gun. Update 01/31/2019 One last update. These guns are way underrated. I am still using the same gun I bought a few years ago. I have a PT Siding company, and I use probably 5-7 cases of nails a year(think there's roughly 2400 nails per case). My original gun is still firing away, and I have since bought another for a back-up for when/if my original craps out. So my honest opinion is this gun is a great buy, it takes a beating day in and day out for about 6-8 months out of the year, and i'm not easy on it. I highly recommend this gun for siding.

Good choice.
Works very well. I have no experience with a top line nailer, and only bought this lower price unit for my personal use. I had bought one from HF. It would frequently jam or not fire a nail. I exchanged it for another and had the same problem. This nailer works very well with Metabo nails. I add a drop of oil when I put it away.

Minimal jams, plenty of double fires, gets heavier as the day drags on.
Drove a couple thousand Metabo siding nails with this thing and only a few jams. More double-fires than jams. It works well enough. Heavy, loud AF, and the wire collating tends to take flight. So make sure you are equipped with your PPE. Ear and eye protection for sure.

Perfect for repairs to fir deck
I had struggled for many years hammering stainless steel finish nails when making repairs to my fir deck. This time, due to replacement of almost 20% of the surface of my 450 sf. deck, I decided to invest in a nail gun and after significant research I ended up selecting this one. Although I had no previous experience with a pneumatic gun, I was able to operate the tool correctly after only a few tries. I'm happy with the repeat performance that sets >95% of the nails seated just right. I found the tool to be a little on the heavy side for my liking, but again I don't have another to compare it to. Overall I feel this tool is at a sweet spot of price, performance and features and I would recommend it to others.

I was really hoping this would work....
I was really hopeful that this Freeman Siding Nailer was going to be exactly what I needed. I am not a professional contractor and cannot justify spending $250 - $350+ on the next cheapest siding nailers. I bought this nail gun at a very reasonable price and was hoping it was like a cheap framing nailer. I was hoping it would work fine for DIY use around the house it would last me forever, but if you used it on a construction site, it probably would not hold up. Wrong. I used this nail gun to drive in some replacement siding in a 5 ft wide by 6ft tall area and I had so many issues in this small area, I returned the nail gun. For a quick summary, at the SAME regulated air pressure, this nail gun: - drove nails in short so they were sticking out of the siding half an inch - drove nails all the way through the siding - drove nails perfectly into the siding like it is supposed to - the trigger got stuck in the up position so I couldn't fire another nail - the nail gun double fired two nails at least 5 times on me - one time the nail gun fired two nails simultaneously so they jammed into the nose of the nail gun and this nail gun got stuck to my house. I had to damage the siding, pry the nail gun off the house, cut the nails off with a wire cutter, and then use a punch to hammer the nails out Maybe you will have better luck, but by the looks of the other reviews, I would not buy this gun. I REALLY wanted this nail gun to work, but it just wouldn't.

Good value, it works fine if you do this.....
Lots of reviews here talk about double firing. I too experienced this at first. I ran this from a small cylindrical compressor. Initially, double fires were horrible, but as I read the instructions, it became apparent that there is only one way to use this gun; hold the trigger down, align where you want it and bump fire. I nailed 90 8"x12' Hardie planks this way without one double fire. That's over 1000 nails. Now, was every nail driven perfect and flush? No. some might be sticking up by 1/32 or and 1/8, but most were nice and flush. Considering the cost, this is a good tool if used correctly. I am a DIYer, and this was my first use of this type of gun. Not critical of other reviews, I just stumbled on a way to make this gun work, maybe exactly the way it was designed.

Great for price.
Had to purchase on the fly due to my 15 year old duofast breaking and no part available. Performs good, trigger safety is wonky, had to modify due to poor design. Put rubber spacer in trigger due to not fully engaging when pressing against siding.

Worked fine for at home. Had a few double hits because I'm using a Pancake compressor. Otherwise, for occasional use, you can't beat the price point.

El precio me Agradó pero NO clava a fondo la Mayoría de los clavos ni que no traiga la función de disparar un clavo a la vez

The nailer feels flimsy and delicate but did it's job OK. It misfired every 20-30 nails, sometimes requiring to open and set the nails again. It was not perfect, but for the price could be tolerated. After driving about 450 1.25 inch nails into cedar shingles, a gush of air came out from the front where the nails come out and the piston pushing the nails remained stuck in the out position as shown in the picture. It could no longer be used. I returned it for a refund and purchased a Bostitch instead.
