Good Hair Days Grip-Tuth Shorty Tuck Combs For Styling Fine Hair, 2 Pack

I originally bought side combs from this company and liked them, but found that sometimes the teeth would stick out a little and be visible through my hair. I wanted to try these since the teeth are shorter. When i got them they looked ridiculously small but I gave them a try anyways. They work great! They hold my very fine hair up and do not show! If you have thick hair, these are NOT for you and you're going to be disappointed. These are for those of us with that super soft, fine, easily tangled, fly-away type of hair. The kind of hair where you make a ponytail with all of it and it's only like a dime or nickle's worth. The kind of hair little kids tend to have. I don't like using elastics or other types of hair accessories because they tend to break my hair so these are a very gentle way to keep your hair out of your face.

These are great for fine hair, but the cost is a little high. I can't find them anywhere else though.

Edit: I did actually find that they sell larger sized combs and i think what happened was i originally had the larger size saved in my cart but when i came back later to purchase they were no longer available so i replaced them with the recommended replacement which looked the same but were not. Moral of the story... be careful which size you are ordering. i will be now ordering the largest size they have and hopefully those work better. I would also love if they ever made a metal version of these instead of plastic. These are NOT normal sized combs! I would say child-sized but they're about 1/2 the size of the ones i remember using as a child/preteen in the 80's. Picture something that you would use for an infant and you'll have a pretty good idea of the actual size of these. Positives: Made in the USA! (comfort, weight, thickness, quality, color) I'm wearing them for the 1st time today and they do seem to be holding my fine, slippery hair in place well so far, although very little hair can fit in a comb. They are thin, lightweight and comfortable. They also seem sturdy and like they will hold up well. I also like that the brown color blends in with my medium brown hair very well. However, i wish i could fit a bit more hair into the comb...my hair is medium density overall with a bit lower density towards the front/near my face where i'm using the combs; so for someone with high density (thicker) hair, I think these combs would be very difficult to use. I would say you can fit about a single bobby pin's worth of hair in one comb & it's probably just easier to use the bobby pin instead of the comb. I'm still confused as to why they are sooo small!! Not sure what the point of that is and i feel like i've been duped a bit since i was expecting a more standard size set of combs. If they ever decided to make a version of these in a normal/standard size, I would definitely purchase those... in fact, i think those would be fantastic! These however, i don't think i can recommend. Hopefully, i can get some use out of them by playing around to make them work some how.

Buyer beware! These are toddler size, so small it is ridiculous. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

They do seem to stay in my hair but they are tiny, they look like a child’s comb. I expected the actual teeth to be longer. They hold my bangs back w a nicer look than just a Bobby pin so… they are ok.

These miniature combs work so very well! It will grasp a small section of hair, and hold it tightly in place all day. Best use is to pull a thin layer of hair over the top of the rest, giving direction to it. Push “against the grain,” and flip into place. The tightly spaced teeth hold very effectively without discomfort. Not designed to hold heavy masses of hair, only small sections.

Best hair clip I’ve ever used. I have thick baby fine hair and this secures my hair better than any other clip I’ve ever used. And it holds it firmly and keeps it in place. It doesn’t snag the hair or pull it out when you take it out either. I lost one and I’m bout to buy up a bunch of these. Heaven forbid these ever get discontinued cuz I k ow they’re not popular but they work better than absolutely everything else! Another old timer secret that should never be forgotten- the other brands are all losers- this simple design does the trick. It holds it all in place and with good grip!

I found these held for my 1940s hairstyle. I have very fine hair, these stayed in place for the whole time I was out. These are very small, but they worked for the half updo. I will buy the other sizes up for different styles. They are expensive but the teeth touch which is what keeps them in place on my fine hair, unlike others.

Great hair combs that keep my fine hair in place. I have various colours and sizes and all are efficient and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Wer mehr als nur das seitliche Haar hochstecken möchte, sollte unbedingt eine größere Größe wählen. Der Preis ist unverschämt hoch, doch halten die Kämme im Vergleich deutlich besser als jene, die man im stationären Handel bekommt, sofern überhaupt im Sortiment.

La calidad es buena pero son super pequeñas, no se resbalan pero es poco el cabello que realmente pueden sostener. Estoy un poco decepcionada, creo que las imágenes son engañosas.

These combs grip thin/fine hair well and are discrete. A bit overpriced though.
