HVAC CPR
I have a Carrier Infinity system, about 11 years old. Recently the thermostat was showing faults and the system wouldn't function properly. The fault codes were strange and really weren't related but basic troubleshooting, without referring to the fault codes, led to the problem. Had to replace a start relay and capacitor months ago and now another relay was showing stress. Research led me to the conclusion that the aged compressor was having trouble starting. This SPP6 Hard Start Capacitor was the answer. As soon as I installed it and reapplied power, the compressor had no issues firing up. System has been working flawlessly with no fault codes for over two months now. Some HVAC websites actually recommend installing these on new systems to prolong component life. I'm sure I can get many more years out of this system thanks to this incredibly easy and cheap fix!

Rv ac compressor
Installed on a 15000btu GE rv ac that would not start the compressor when powered by a bluetti 2000W solar generator. After 15 minute install it had no problems kicking on without shutting the bluetti off. Don’t know of the build quality, feels a little cheaply made, but at this price and it works, you can’t go wrong.

Worked great
This was easy to install and now my AC unit starts immediately, there is no spin up anymore. If your unit spins up slower then this will probably save some money on your electric bill and wear on the unit.

Didn’t use
Experienced A/C tech recommended not using this as it appeared to be questionable construction and quality. I ended up just replacing capacitor and system works perfectly now.
