7' x 4' Baseball & Softball Pitcher Protection Net

GoSports 7' x 4' I-Screen | Baseball & Softball Pitcher Protection Net | Must Have for Safe Training - Includes Foldable Bow Frame and Portable Carry Bag I wasn't sure how well I would be able to "hide" behind this net when I first saw the dimensions. It protected me better than I thought, being a larger size man (6'5"/340 lbs). I am able to stand or sit behind this net to throw batting practice. It's very stable and did not tip over on line drives back at it, even without the stakes. It was very easy to put together and disassemble. Pros-Easy to assemble, good quality, no velcro on the bottom posts, so you don't have to worry about it wearing out or a ball going between the net and the bottom post to hit you. (which is also a con). Cons-No velcro on bottom (all my other nets have velcro on the bottom and I always build the bottom half first, then strap the velcro to the bottom out of habit). The frame has to slide into the bottom of the net. It is not a bad con just have to remind myself of it. :)

This item is everything I'd hoped it would be. It's easy to set up and take apart and has taken plenty of direct hits and worked perfectly. Some reviews said it's not great in windy conditions but I haven't found that to be the case at all.

I needed a protective screen after almost being hit by come-backers several times. This is perfect.l for the price. Since L screens are so expensive, this is a good alternative. Lightweight, durable, and easy to put together.

This I-screen works fine for younger kids. It is very light weight and seems to work fine as an inexpensive option for younger kids or if only needed for occasional use. If you have older kids that hit harder, use it all the time, or you don’t want to have to put some weight on the legs to keep it from blowing over when windy then this might be a good option for you. It is light and easy to carry around. If I didn’t have a bigger and heavier duty L screen to also utilize I may have a different opinion. If this screen was all I had, I would probably opt for one that was a little heavier duty.

This is one of the safest nets I have pitched behind, while still being light weight and easy to travel to different fields with. Easy put up and take down with security during the whole practice.

We primarily use this for project protection from our players when doing coach soft toss. (14U softball) It has been a lifesaver. The effectiveness of our pitching is better because we are not having to worry about come-backers to the face and can pitch closer giving the girls more pitches that are strikes and with better speedQuick setup and solid storage bag.

My teenage son is an absolute terror with a bat in his hands. We usually hit at batting cages at the high school where I can safely hide behind an L-screen, but with Covid-19 shutting down all of the batting cages in March, we had to practice in open field areas. After taking a sharp line drive off of the knee in early spring, I knew that I needed something for protection and I gave this product a shot. Even without putting the stakes in the ground, the screen is able to stop even the hardest line drives. My son's coach borrows the screen for batting practice and none of the highschoolers on the team have yet hit one that the I-screen did not stop. I am not a mechanical wizard, but it only takes me a minute to get the screen set up, so I'm sure that anyone could do it. Its also fairly light, so when we have to carry it for a bit of distance to find an open spot on the field to hit, my son and I can carry it between us, along with all of his gear and a bucket of balls, so its obviously much lighter than a regular L-screen. The whole thing breaks down quickly, and we just toss it into the back of the car between uses. we have used the screen 3-4 days per week for the past 3 months or so. I haven't noticed any wear or damage on the thing, and it has taken some pretty good liners from kids who play on high school teams. Obviously, a traditional L-screen is more sturdy and easier to throw with. With the I-screen, you don't have the open space on your throwing side to throw through, so it is a little bit of an adjustment at first as you figure out how to throw accurately and find cover all in one motion, but its nothing an experienced dad can't figure out easily. If you are throwing in a cage or on a field with an L-screen already there, then you don't need this product. However, if you need protection and don't have room in your car or want to lug a heavy L-screen across a field, this product is perfect for you.

The product was easy to assemble and will be mobile for our needs. I think as a coach it's helpful especially for younger age groups <10 yo or even as a modified screen in a practice setting. It isn't quite sturdy enough for high level hitting if pitching from a close distance where a more traditional L screen would be preferred. Would recommend !

Sehr gutes Netz zu hinstellen. Mein Mann benutzt es als Golfübungsnetz. Musste nur noch ein Netz mit kleineren Löchern davor geben da sonst die Golfbälle durchfallen. Ansonsten alles super.

My teen hit a HARD line drive directly into this net and it saved me from getting hit. The net barely flinched at all. Having taken a ball in the eye last year I really appreciate having this as an inexpensive and highly effective insurance policy! Added perk was that the net was super easy to set up and disassemble without any help. One suggestion when putting it away in its bag is to start with the longer cross beam, then put away the rest of the parts.

Ottimo prodotto e di facile montaggio... perfetto per giocare all'aria aperta ma anche sul terrazzo se di dimensione adeguate. Comodo da trasportare grazie alla sacca contenitore che può anche contenere l'eventuale mazza da baseball.
