What does the sheath look like?

Hi Bill,The new BK-22S sheath is constructed of a heavy-duty Polyester with a front cargo pocket with Velcro closure, a blade insert sleeve, handle retaining straps, and riveted leg lashing holes.Our image actually was submitted with the sheath picture in it but unfortunately Amazon decides which images are displayed.

What are the differences between this knife (BK-22) and the previous version (the BK-2)?

The BK-22 has the HEAVY DUTY polyester sheath, the BK-2 has the Kydex sheath. I purchased the BK-22 through Amazon and I haven't been disappointed since.

Can i sharpen this knife with a Smith's TRI-6 Arkansas TRI-HONE Sharpening Stones System?_____ Very satisfied with this purchase and while it is razor sharp right out of the box i don't want to chance ruining it with a wrong sharpening system. If you have a different recommendation i am all ears. Great Product :)

Sorry, I do not know. The knife was sharp enough out of the box and after a few light camping trips the blade still holds true. Perhaps KA-BAR customer support could answer or email them directly? Great knife, and highly recommend the investment.
