Quality sandals that feel and look nice.
These were delivered 2 days sooner than expected, which is awesome. I have the same sandals in brown and I love them.

Great sandals but wrong sizing
I love these sandals! Bought a pair in 2021 and they have shown little wear after lots of cycling, saltwater fishing, canoeing and general wear. Very comfortable fit. The odd thing is that the pair I bought in 2021 was size 10. I wanted to buy another pair while the same style was available so I ordered another pair of tens. They were too small and narrow so I returned them and ordered up to a size 10.5, which fit perfectly and was the exact same size as my old pair (size 10). I would give the sandals 5 stars, but 4 stars for having to deal with this issue.

Comfortable Summer Shoes
These are simply the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever owned. I've had them for about 6 weeks and wear them almost every day. First, they are open enough to feel like sandals, but have enough structure to make me feel comfortable wearing them in either rugged outdoor areas or crowded metro areas where you need a bit more protection from clumsy people or the carts they push. Second, I've had plantar fasciitis in the past and need more substantial arch support than average shoes. On nikes or dress shoes I typically remove the low grade insole and replace it with a special insert that gives robust support. For this reason I have almost never found a pair of sandal type shoes that I could wear without a lot of foot fatigue or pain. These Tevas have excellent, higher than average arches which makes it possible for me to wear these all day with no problem, no pain, and NO FATIGUE! I am beyond pleased—I'm delighted! And, while I wouldn't want to run any real distance in them, they are supportive enough that I would not give any thought to running to the end of the block and back to retrieve a fleeing dog. Third, there are a couple of ways to adjust the fit on the heal and over the top of the foot. I was nervous when I put them on right out of the box... It was tight and uncomfortable across the top, and the heal was a little tight. Both have velcro adjustment strips, which I adjusted and ended up with an excellent fit. Lastly, the snap-in clip for the top strap makes them a breeze to get on and off in a hurry. I haven't had them long enough to know if they will hold up over the long haul, but after 45-ish days of use, they show no wear (though I've been in the mud once or twice and wiped them off), nor do they appear to be weak or poorly constructed. I love these shoes and will buy them again! 2019 Update: Heading into my 2nd season with these. Still love them and have looked forward to being back in them throughout winter. They are showing a little more age on the top, but they are not ragged by any means. The leather upper appears to be more "wavy" or slightly curled as you might expect after it had been wet a few times. This doesn't impact the construction or comfort... they just don't look brand new. They have loosened up slightly, so i'm adjusting the velcro straps to compensate. I'm glad spring is here... I've already been back in them several times. Still feel perfect with the slight velcro adjustment. Based on wear over the first season, and now into the second, I'm guessing i can get at least 2 or 3 more years out of them -- probably more, depending on how rough I am on them. 2025 Update: These are still my favorite pair of summer shoes. They now look like they are 8 years old, but they still fit well and I retract nothing of my original review! One of the best shoe purchases I've ever made. I'm going for 10 years!

This is my 3rd pair (that says it all !!))
Great sandle/shoe for active outdoor wear. Used for Boat, fishing, beach, hiking, ect. This is my 3rd pair, I simply wore out previous pairs!! Good "velcro style" straps for max adjustment and comfort.

Goodbye Keen, I love these Tevas
I’ve had 3 pairs of Keen sandals in a row over the past decade as my primary summer footwear. They are great, but I grew tired of the chunky style so I went looking for something different. The Teva Omnium 2 were impossible for me find both locally and also on a 4 state road trip. I finally broke down an ordered my normal size without ever seeing these in person or trying them on. The fit is perfect, and the 2 Velcro straps plus quick lace cords give you a ton of options to snug it up for a rough hike or loosen it for normal walks. The cushioning is soft but not so much that you lose the feel of the trail under your feet. Traction is good but I haven’t done much hiking and have not tried them on rocks yet. The heel did take a bit of beak in for me. The Keen heels make pulling them on annoying, but the design is completely non abrasive. The Omniums will rub your heel more than the Keens. But my heel broke in pretty fast and the advantage is that with the strap, you have more customization of fit. Also, the front Velcro strap has a quick release buckle which means you can slip them on fast for a quick trip to the yard with your dog, no hands required. The only downside with no counter-advantage is the lack of airflow near the closed toes. Keens do a better job in this regard. I’m still happy I made the change, but if airflow on the Keens is on the edge of acceptable to you, you won’t like these. I almost forgot. Keens give you a little slap-back with every step, these Tevas do not. The picture shows the Color “bungee cord” from Trav against my old Keens (grey/orange) bot in sunlight.

The original wasn't broken, so why try to fix it???
I've been buying the original Teva Men's M Omnium Sandal for years. The last time I purchased a pair was on March 13, 2017. I wear them EVERYwhere--the mountains, the beach, on cruises, around town, working in the yard, etc., etc.--and they've lasted for two years. They are still going strong, but there's a little wear on the soles, so I decided to order another pair. I was not surprised when I learned the original was no longer available. I was also not surprised when I received the "II" and found that yet another company had ruined an original product for no good reason. I would love for someone at Teva to explain why they had to change the original design. There was nothing wrong with it. The sizing on the new sandal is off. I wore a 10.5 comfortably with the original shoe, but this 10.5 is too narrow. The new one is really stiff and hard, whereas the original version was soft and flexible. The new sole looks inferior to the original. It also appears they were trying to cut corners on the new shoe, because there isn't as much leather as the original one. I paid $94.95 in 2017 for the original sandal. I'd rather pay $10 more for the same shoe rather than $10 less for an inferior product. I can't understand why Teva couldn't leave well enough alone. It wasn't broken, so why try to fix it??? I'm returning for a refund and looking elsewhere for some good water shoes/sandals.
