I had a B&D drill. 9.6V and it wasn't cutting it. It was really not much more than a glorified screw driver. I compared the specs on this one, and found that the rpms was like 2.5X faster, 20V instead of 9 and had good ratings (although some might be bots). I had some plywood that I needed to be screwed into some fence posts. I attempted it with the B&D and needed to make a pilot, and still didn't do it well. I did the same thing with this one. No pilot holes. Just a screw directly into wood and it did it like a champ. The weight and feel of the drill is quite good too. Its not plastic feeling, has a little bit of weight and comfortable to hold. Plus, the added tools were nice as well. It never hurts to have extra bits, and allen wrenches. The charge time was on par with most drills. Nothing particularly impressive there. I felt it was a good buy, but I would feel it safe to say that it wouldn't stand up to contractor use. I don't have a huge need for a drill, so I kept it on the cheap side. And felt this was a perfect match.

I have a couple other Worx tools that all use the same batteries so it’s convenient and easy to use. Battery capacity is good. It’s fine for light to medium duty jobs around the house. I have a bigger corded drill with more torque if I really need it, but this is perfectly fine for most tasks. The extra tools that came with it are pretty cheap (as expected) but they’re fine for what they are. The bag is nice to have. Overall, it’s a good value.

Not only a good drill for home use but a good variety of tools plus a carrying bag. I have other Worx batteries so I can just swap the batteries.
