If your pet is a vegetarian like mine this is the food for you. Since you can't buy this type in the retail market here is the only place to get it. Always a good food

We've been feeding a stray cat in our backyard twice a day for the past 10+ years or so (we took her to the vet for medical care and she wasn't microchipped or anything so we've basically taken her in as our own cat by now, and gave her the name "Meowmeow"). My parents are vegan and really wanted to start giving vegetarian food to Meowmeow instead because they feel terrible feeding meat. There are very few options out there for vegetarian/vegan cat food and they're all VERY expensive, and Meowmeow didn't like most of them. And I'm not a vet so I can't talk about the nutritious value of these, but at least it's vegetarian and seems to have a very large mix of proteins and other nurtrients in each can that supplement any deficiencies from a non-meat diet. I've read that cats are natural carnivores and SHOULD NOT eat vegan/vegetarian food but our cat has been very healthy, and all our neighbors have dogs so Meowmeow has been loyal to us and mostly eating what we give her - although she can be very picky at times so I've wasted probably hundreds of dollars on cat food that she just won't touch. I was hopeful when I discovered this available on amazon for a reasonable price (I'd seen this brand before but it was always out of stock). At $3 a can and each can having enough for 2 meals for Meowmeow (she's a senior now and prefers softer food), we were so hopeful she'd like it. And she did! After a few sniffs she went to town on it and ignored the usual food we buy for her (which was a dry vegetarian cat food but very expensive as well). She actually went for seconds. I'm so glad and hopeful that she'll keep enjoying it, and considering buying more cans just to stock up in case it goes out of stock again. Wish these were available in a pet store nearby!

I have been feeding my dog this for years with no issues. It's a great alternative to prescription foods. He seems to be OK with the taste as he eats pretty regularly for a senior dog. Downside is that the consistency can vary. Sometimes it's really dry and sometimes it's more of a wet food.

My Doberman loved this as a mixer in his dry food however, I couldn’t re-order it they had no more

The dog food is excellent, my dogs scoff it down, they have severe food allergies. This food doe's not affect them. Thanks, Evangers! Not happy with Amazon, the first shipment was delayed in Transit, which means It fell off the convery and no one has looked for it or it mysteriously fell off the back of the truck. So I canceled the order and reordered got it quicker than waiting for it to be found and waiting for Amazon. The new order when we received it, the outer packaging was perfect but the case of dog food inside was all taped up and a lot of the cans were dented. Must have been someone else's order which fell off the conveyor. I have to keep it running short on dog food and mix it in with their other food, they won't eat without it. Usually, I will not accept dented cans.

Totally vegan, very healthy and my dogs find it very tasty! No nasty smell and is very easy to serve. No mess 🥰 my bigger dog loves this with his drive food, he has sensitive skin. ❤️🙏🏻

My Chihuahua was starting to have stomach issues and wouldn’t eat her normal food. We took her to the vet and found out she had pancreatitis. The vet recommended changing the food to a vegetarian diet. We tried other brands but she didn’t like any of them until we found Evangers!! She now loves eating her food again.

Our senior dog eats this regularly and has for months. We love the food overall, but this last case we got was really strangely different and made our dogs belly upset. Usually this food smells strongly of sweet potatoes, but in this batch they all smelled a lot like bacon which was concerning since our senior has a delicate belly. It was also a different color than normal. This time it was darker and more red. I know every single can won't be the same color or consistency, but these all looked like chili instead of a pate. When we mixed it up there was a bright yellow grainy kind of film on the top that separated from the rest of the food that I tried to show in the picture. I usually like this food, but won't be ordering from Amazon anymore since they were not helpful at all. Now we have 12 cans of food that our dog can't eat.
