Included cable is too short
Sound quality seems good for the price. Lots of connection options. Looks nice. Make sure to read the manual so you know how to switch input sources, or you may get confused when you plug the device into your pc and it doesn't work. You gotta hit the power button, there are three input types represented by three colors. Note that this is the type of speaker that requires external power via electrical outlet, not just USB. It loses a star for me solely due to the short length of usb c cable. I'm just very tired of this practice, a six foot cable at least would be appropriate. If you have a longer USB a-to-c, or USB c-to-c, either should work fine as long as they have data transfer capabilities, which most standard charging cables do. These get very loud and if you have an equalizer they should be able to handle most things just fine. Don't expect "feel it in your chest" type bass though, that is why they sell a subwoofer to pair these with. I would call the sound roughly equivalent with something like a JBL charge, probably better once tuned with an EQ. I can't speak to the app people talk about with these, haven't tried that yet and probably don't care to. I intend to EQ on my PC so it doesn't matter. The touch controls are fine. Note that you want to hold the volume buttons down, not tap, it's more efficient this way.

Very nice for size, only downside is weak bass response below 60 Hz
These tiny speakers are impressive for their size. I use them for listening to music at the computer and general computer sound output, as my monitor speakers are pretty bad. For 15 years I used an old Bose Wave III radio as my computer sound output, so that is what I can compare these Edifiers to. In most respects the Edifiers are an improvement--certainly better stereo separation, no surprise there, also very clear mids and smooth highs. What they lack compared to the Bose is bass. The Bose cut off about 48 Hz, these cut off about 58Hz, and the difference is noticeable. I never felt any need for equalization for the Bose, probably by design, but it is necessary for the Edifiers to boost the relatively weak low end. With that, then these are an acceptable but not perfect replacement for the Bose, considering that a new Bose radio is thousands of dollars now so not a viable option. Their really small size makes it possible for me to squeeze them in with my 3 monitors, 4 scanners and other computer equipment on my desk. For gaming and the like, which I don't do, you will need something else. For filling a room with music, something else. But sitting at the computer, 4 stars if you get an EQ app. Note that I haven't messed with the Bluetooth, no use for it. The speakers come with no usable instructions, just gobblygook and gibberish, but for my purposes, you plug them in and go. The on-off button and volume buttons are weird but they work OK. In the old days I would have simply found an old amp laying about and spliced into the Bose to make use of the speakers, which are still operational, I kinda miss those days. Times being what they are, these are well worth the price for my application. Rock on, as long as you can.

Good speakers, confusing instructions
The instructions are not helpful, but the speakers have excellent sound.
