Even at the exorbitant $139/year for Prime, a customer cannot opt out of Amazon's absurd, inferior "green"/grocery-paper/no-box packaging. So, your new watch will arrive crushed in its product box, because Amazon refuses to use a proper shipping box. Think about this especially if unnecessary scratches bother you or if your watch is intended as a gift. I now avoid Amazon for many purchases because of its hippie/"green," no-box/reduced-cardboard-box nonsense. As for the watch, I have accumulated in my junk drawer several over recent decades, all purchased at WM, which no longer seems to carry the watch in its stores. The built-to-fail watch's weak point is Timex's deliberately difficult battery-replacement chore that involves four tiny outer screws; three even tinier and even harder to affix inner-plate screws (each the size of a grain of sand), and a loose, chintzy, easily deformable gasket. In short, even with a good light, magnifier, and jeweler's screwdriver, you may spend an hour chasing screws that you had better not lose. Timex knows that you will suffer and depends on it: Many guys simply throw away the watch and buy another, rather than endure the battery chore. After a couple of battery changes, the watch will die. Save it for parts, in your junk drawer. Also, note that this not-waterproof watch's display shows temporary condensation occasionally, but that resolves on its own. I have stuck with this annoying watch model, because no other reasonably priced, good-looking, commonly available digital Timex or Casio has larger time digits, a clean display with time/date/day, and an XL expansion band (other watches would make me buy a Twist-O-Flex band as a replacement). I worry much less about banging up or getting dirty a reasonably priced, easy-to-replace timepiece. There are a lot of UGLY, goofy (and overpriced) watches, out there. This one could use LARGER digits, but Timex is printing money with it, so Timex spending a penny on making better use of the face is not going to happen. Same goes for making battery replacement easy rather than torture.
