Yum! Perfect for Beginners
Bought these to help teach my toddler about gardens and I did some research on what grew best in the fall time in Kansas and it recommended this. I was so impressed with how well they grew and they tasted great. There were tons of seeds in the pack and most, if not all grew perfectly. These seeds are perfect for beginners or anyone who loves radishes! Will be buying again next year!

These seeds sprouted fast! They all appear to be in good condition, growing well and a nice quantity in the package.

Tricky to grow indoors but rewarding
I wanted to grow some radishes but I live in south florida so growing outdoors was out of the question. I did a lot of research and this is what I ended up doing. I first used a regular plant light which wasn't nearly strong enough. They all sprouted but were very leggy. The reason being the light wasn't nearly strong enough. I then purchased a 32 watt full spectrum grow light. I used a pot that was 6-7 inches deep with good soil. It most be a very loose soil for the radishes to grow. Mix a little spagham moss, perlite and you are ready to go. I decided to grow them in my bathroom so I could give them adequate light. I gave them 16 hours of light per day. If you are growing them with artificial light it must be placed 3- 4 inches away. If the light is to far away they will become leggy which is no good. I also used a regular plant light for extra light.Mist the seeds everyday until they sprout After they pop out of the dirt keep watering them everyday. Radishes like it moist but don't flood them. I also set up a little small fan for circulation. It was very rewarding and in less than a month they were ready. They were big(not huge) and were delicious.Pull them when they are about an inch across. If you leave them in to long it will effect the taste. It is better to pull them early rather than letting them keep growing. I ended up with two delicious radishes which was extremely rewarding. I planted more seeds as soon as I pulled them out.

Germinated in 3 days
I planted these seeds with my 2 nd grade class on Wednesday night and Saturday they have all germinated. So far so good . Kids planted themselves. I separated the seedlings that were clumped together.

Poor quality
These seeds grew nice and tall with large tops, but all that developed were thin red roots, I won't waste time planting them again!
