Amazing for garage door opener
Used 2 of these to try and isolate some of the noise and vibrations of my garage door opener and the rooms above my garage. Between installing only 2 of these and replacing the rollers with nylon rollers, it is amazing how quite my old opener is. We were looking at spending $300+ on a new, high end opener but I can’t imagine they could possibly be any quieter than my cheap 1/2 hp craftsman chain drive with these 2 modifications. I am very very impressed on how low the hum is now vs the shaking we dealt with for years... I am so glad we tried the cheap and easy route first!!!

High quality mounts
Used these to mount a large water pump and they reduced the noise generated by the pump quite a bit. Very happy with the purchase.

Makes a difference in noisy level of opener
Really quiet down the noise from garage door opener. They will sag a little when the weight of garage opener is on it but they work great!

Harder to install if your opener is not side mounted.
My garage door opener hangs from the top so I had to rearrange the supports which moved the track forward requiring me to drill a new hole where it attached to the front wall support. Not really sure if it made much difference in the noise level after all the work but does seem to cut down on the vibration felt through the floor.

Inconsistent quality
Some of the nuts in the package were not threaded quite correctly where some were just fine. One got stuck on the stud bolt and when I attempted to remove it, the stud pulled out of the rubber. This makes me question the strength and durability of these in holding up my garage door opener. I added a couple zip ties in case these fail so the garage door opener doesn't fall onto one of our vehicles.

Very Good Noise/Shock absorber for Garage Doors
My Garage door did not have any absorber, so it felt like tremor in the room above garage, whenever i opened/closed it. I put one absober, noise/vibraion reduced atleast 95% upstairs, then I put second one also, noise goes down by little bit to 95-96%. I guess one was enough :)
