I recently tried Danger Coffee by Dave Asprey (Remineralized Whole Bean, Medium Roast), and I have to say—it’s fantastic quality, and frankly, it exceeded all my expectations. From the first pour into my grinder, the aroma was incredible— deeply nutty, rich, and inviting. Once brewed via pour-over, the brew offered a smooth, balanced flavor with subtle notes of dark chocolate and pipe tobacco—complex yet never overpowering. I was blown away by how clean the taste was—no bitterness, no harsh aftertaste, just pure coffee bliss. This aligns perfectly with what others have said: “The brew is never jarring. The caffeine is smooth,” and “fresh, aromatic and smooth”. What truly sets this coffee apart is its toxin-free promise and unique remineralization process. The beans are lab-tested to be mold-free and are enhanced with fulvic and humic minerals—over 50 trace minerals, according to the product info . I genuinely felt a steady energy and clarity throughout the morning—zero jitters, zero crash. Reviewers from mindbodygreen also noted a “bold, nutty flavor with some cocoa notes” and “more mild, steady energy and mental alertness” —a perfect description of my own experience. Yes, this coffee is premium-priced—comparable to other specialty brews—but trust me, the quality justifies it. You’re paying for a thoughtfully sourced, meticulously tested product with tangible benefits in taste and experience. In short: If you’re serious about your coffee and want something that delivers both taste and cognitive lift—without the baggage of bitterness or jitters—this is it. Danger Coffee is well worth the investment and has instantly become my go-to morning brew. Highly recommend—it’s better than expected! ⸻ Pros: • Exceptionally smooth, complex flavor (dark chocolate, nutty, pipe tobacco) • Clean and toxin-free (lab-tested, mold-free) • Unique remineralization with fulvic & humic minerals • Sustained energy, mental clarity, no jitters Cons: • Premium price point • Limited availability (mostly online)

Tried these pods for the first time. It was like having a freshly ground cup of coffee. The medium roast had just the right amount of boldness. I also like that the pods are environmentally friendly. When compared to a Starbucks or Dutch Brothers cup of coffee, this is a great value for the quality. One note, the bottom of the pods look like a coffee filter and do cause the coffee to splatter a little more than standard K-cups but in no way deters from quality or taste of the product and I do really like that they are compostable.

This coffee pod breaks open every time I brewed it in my Keurig. It got grounds in my coffee and all over the counter every time I made a cup. It’s super unfortunate because it’s extremely pricey to have this kind of defect. I hear about it on a podcast and was drawn to its clean label and the fact they mold test it. I will not be buying it again as it made a huge mess and got the grounds everywhere every time I brewed a cup.

The difference in taste is remarkable. The pods are high quality and, if I'm not mistaken, they can be used for composting which is also unique.

These pods are not recognized by a Kuerig so be careful. They fit perfectly but the machine says it is not a Kuerig k pod and won't run. I dumped the coffee from the pod and did a french press instead. It is really great coffee! I have now ordered a bag of ground instead as this will be my new favorite but be careful with this particular packaging. FYI, I have reached out to the company about ability to return or recommendations for how to use.
