Very Pleased
I bought this filament to match my daughters school colors. This filament was the closest to one of the colors. I am new to 3D Printing and had not heard much about this manufacturer but they had the color and I went for it. The spool showed up at my door today. I loaded it up and printed a Benchy @ 210 nozzle, 60 bed, 40mm/s. It came out much better than I could have imagined. With a little tweaking I think I can produce some pretty good quality prints with this. For the price you can't go wrong. If they produce the color I'm looking for I will buy from Solutech. Like I mentioned, I am new to this and have only been playing around with low cost filament ($20 range). This filament is at the top in price to quality when compared to the brands I have used

Fantastic color and amazing quality!
I ordered this color specifically to print this Daredevil in so it would deduce the amount of painting that it would need. It is absolutely the best color for his suit! It is also the best spool of PLA I have run to date. Perfect diameter, no kinks, tangles, clogs, etc. I had good results with 3D Solutech white so I had to go with this and now I will be only purchasing 3D Solutech filament after this. The detail I was able to achieve with this filament is mind blowing. Couldn't get that with other brands. Excellent price as well! Printed with CR-10s

I use it for my Etsy shop, love it, and hope it comes back in stock
I use Solutech's Merlot Red for my Etsy shop, and probably order more of it than just about anyone. The print adhesion is excellent, no stringing, bridges well, and handles details amazingly well. Not to mention, Solutech has some of the best colors, and there are no other brands that make this red. I also use to use their green, but unfortunately it never came back into stock. I completely recommend this brand, and I hope eventually this filament comes back, or else it is going to do a lot of damage to my shop. (BluePrintsWorkshop)

Go To Filament
3D Solutech has been my go to filament since I first tried them. Even printing with a cheap Chinese i3 clone I get good prints every time. I have no problems with bed adhesion on an aluminum bed with glue stick. This new color from 3D Solutech is just awesome and provides a nice change from the standard bright red.

Love the color. Love the price. Wish it was more consistent with other Solutech PLA
I think this is my 15th spool of 3D Solutech PLA. I've tried other suppliers, but I keep coming back to 3D Solutech. I like the price and I love the consistency between colors. I also like to look for the stickers in the box and hear the satisfying hiss when I cut into the package. I've been printing Christmas trees for my Girlfriends cubicle at work. I thought, since I just got this Merlot form Amazon, I'd make a few in different colors. Since I've been using pretty much the same profile for all the 3D Solutech PLA for a while now, a change in color shouldn't have been an issue. It's actually one of the things I appreciate about 3D Solutech Filament. I can slice an STL and run any color without having issues. I've even changed color mid-print without issues. Until today, I tried to run an ornament using my usual settings. I got a jam after only a few layers. I didn't make the connection at first. I just ran three trees in a row using green PLA. The only thing I changed was the filament to the brand new roll of Merlot. I got clicking from the extruder and under extrusion almost immediately. At 205!! I'm not really upset. I'll try to raise the temp and probably run a temperature tower. However, I am concerned, PLA should flow just fine at 205. In fact, I'm back to green as I type this without issue. So, am I warning you to stay form 3D Solutech? Absolutely not!! This is a great product at a good price. I'll be buying more material from them, just to see the stickers if nothing else!! ;-D

Consistent and Good looking!
I'm running this on a Creality Ender 3 and it works great! I'm printing my first 2 layers at 210 with a 65 degree bed, then dropping to 205 with a 60 degree bed for the remainder and have been happy with first layers and print quality. I've had no spooling issues. The color is very nice in my opinion. I'm looking forward to trying more colors from Solutech. Well done!

Great color quality plastic
Had some initial issues with getting temp dialed in but nothing out of oridinary, I bought the red merlot color, itโs nice like a brownish red. 3D Solutech has really stepped up their fane with their selection of amazing colors, great prices, and quality plastic. Been using them for a couple years and I have yet to be disappointed. Filiment diameter is dead on to specs. Gods great through my BMG extruder and Capricorn tube.

Beautiful Red filament for the Money!
I love this red filament. This has a nice darker tone that most red filaments don't have. I run this filament about 210 to 205 and run the bed about 50 to 60 degrees. This filament just runs good and doenst give me any problems. This is my go to filament every time. Now if they will start restocking the refill master spools. Since I run Capicorn bowden tubing this has the right diameter for my tubing. Which I find that some of the cheaper filament causes binding in my tubing when I run them.

Color
My son ordered this for me for Christmas as it was on my wish list and the filament itself is great however the color is not anything like the picture shown, more brown than red, I was so excited to try this out and so disappointed with the resulting color.

Ok, but pretty brittle.
It has a nice rich color, but I find it to actually be very brittle after printing. And is prone to line breaks while printing. Not the best product I have bought from Solutech.
