I tried this and the lemokey p1 also from keychron. The quality is good for a budget keyboard. It’s also very quiet. Maybe too quiet for some that require that sound to ensure they are pressing the keys. It’s even quieter than an Apple keyboard. It’s also a little taller than the p1 so you will need a wrist pad.

I bought this for my wife when her old 20 dollar mechanical keyboard died. The keys feel good to the touch, are satisfying to type on, and the keyboard itself is shockingly customizable through keychron's launcher webapp. Everything about this keyboard is a value, and if you want to increase that value proposition, you can upgrade to the Q3 HE which uses hall effect switches (I bought that one after trying her keyboard out). Big fan. I'll be buying keychron products from here on out.

Upon arrival, the keyboard and tools were securely packaged. The keycaps have a smooth texture and the overall aesthetics, including the colors and backlight, are very appealing. The typing sound is also satisfying. Bluetooth worked right away and the keyboard battery was at 20% when it arrived. Unfortunately, there was a quality control issue with a single sluggish switch. This defect caused the corresponding keycap to sit noticeably lower than the rest and prevented it from fully springing back up. To illustrate the problem, I have included pictures of a faulty switch and a normal one that goes back up normally. To resolve this, I had to swap the faulty switch with one from a less-used key, as no spare switch was provided.

Great, solid built, very quiet. I don’t use it wirelessly so I cannot speak for the battery life. Also came with a key/switch swapping kit, nice touch. Would 100% purchase another keychron with the same switches

First one had double-typing issue on arrival. Exchanged for a second identical keyboard, then developed the same double-typing issue a few months later. For $120 this is unacceptable.
