After connecting the TC-3001-P to my radio and amplifier, I began to check the SWR meter, then the modulation meter and all went well with those meters, so I checked the power or wattage meter and found that the meter seemed to have a problem. The amplifier I use puts out 500 watts when used, so I wanted to see if the Dosy Inline Watt meter would register the same wattage. Well, when I selected the 1000 watt scale on the meter, it registered only about 8 watts. I tried again and got the same wattage. I then checked the 100 watt scale and engaged my amplifier and the meter read 40 watts. So then I selected the 10 watt scale and when I keyed my amplifier, it registered 475 watts. So it seems that the "wiring connections" are not correct in order to "read" output wattage on the selected "power output" i.e. Watts. The 10 watts is reading my amplifier's full output of 475 watts while the 1000 watt scale only reads about 8 watts when my amplifier is putting 475 watts out to the meter. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT with the DOSY INLINE WATT METER which could result in equipment failure due to faulty meter readings.

Many Many Negative Reviews on this meter. Apparently this has Calibration Problems, Wish I knew that before I spent the money and waste my time! Guess you'd need 2 meters? 1 to use and 1 to calibrate? Takes a Meter to Calibrate another Meter ! NO THANKS. Il stay with Daiwa Revised October 11 2022-- (Tried Again)-- Firstly- This Meter arrived as Used after opening box. The plastic wrap has Burn Holes that surround the meter lol We Received a *Used Meter* LOL Sending this back.. Meanwhile----- Again we purchased this meter and found to be Inaccurate- The WATT METER only displays 300Watts while we are pushing a 500Watt Amplifier. The MOD METER only displays Wacky Needle Peg with D104 Microphone. The SWR METER Pegs Super High when the 500Watt amp switched On compared to the CB factory 12 Watt antenna tune on the GAMA MATCH Capacitor.

Works great and lights up for a better visual

The product is great, except for the 3rd light is yellow, the modulation meter the light is dull the other 2SWR and the power windows are bright, I don’t know if this is something that is supposed to be or is it still gonna burn out on me fast. That’s a problem.
