Saw this curved rake advertised on a channel and had to try it so I bought this set which was reasonably priced and also contained a slicker brush in case I didn't like the rake. So I have a Great Pyrenees/ Anatolian Shepherd mix - big! The Anatolian shed a lot (the Pyrenees tend to mat or clump) and I've had hair all over my house!! Piles of hair, hair balls, hair cords, you name it! I used the rake for the first time today and it works wonders!! Piles of hair came out, enough to fill a queen sized futon and it didn't hurt my dog. He was very pleased and stood still the whole time. This is really a great tool and will save me a lot of hair gathering as well as keeping my dog happy and healthy and cool.

I absolutely love this brush! It makes grooming so much easier, and the self-cleaning feature is a game changer. The brush removes loose hair really well, and being able to release the hair with the push of a button makes cleanup so quick and easy. It feels sturdy, works great, and my pets seem comfortable while I use it. Definitely worth the purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use grooming brush!

THESE ARE AMAZING!! I didn't need the comb looking one, but it came with the set so I gave it to a friend for their cats. The one that looks almost like a rake & like it would be painful actually works better than the other one and my dog LOVES IT! She's a senior English Bulldog, so very stubborn, but whenever she sees me go to get her brushes she follows me then backs her butt up into my leg so I can brush her. I start with the retractable brush but she always looks back at me giving me the side eye and won't stop staring at me until I stop and switch to the rake looking one. It gets ALL her fur that's ready to come off. It's also great because the majority of the fur that comes off stays on the brush and you can remove it & throw it away instead of it falling off, which is what I THOUGHT would happen! It's awesome, I love it, it works great by removing the loose fur so it doesn't end up all over my floor and it scratches her back at the same time, which she absolutely LOVES! She almost dances because she wiggles her chunky potato body while I'm brushing her, it's hilarious! Would definitely recommend!!

This is an amazing toolset for burs. The rake cuts out the stubborn ones and the retractable slicker brush grabs the easy ones. I regret not buying this sooner. Works great on my golden retriever when she decides to roll around in sticker bushes for some reason.

Both metal comb and retractable brush work great. Some of my cat herd are older (one long-haired) and they don't groom themselves well enough to remove knots and shedding fur. These tools give them the help they need detangling and removing loose undercoat. I was amazed by how much loose fur came out and how smooth the kitties looked after their detangling and brushing. It doesn't hurt at all if you work gently and slowly. They really liked it and it greatly lessens further shedding on carpet and floors.

The comb is a bit harsh on my kitty. But the other two brushes work well. The pin one to get excess hair. The dual sides brush, 9 prongs great for undercoat, 15+ prongs good to get top coat after removing undercoat.

I have this item andBought this one for my daughter because every time i dog sat her dog, his coat was full and dropping hair as he walked through the house. I would sit on the back porch with my Furminator and pull a huge pile of hair off of him. Now that they have their own, the grandkids actually help with grooming like they did at my house. Everyone loves the way It pulls all the loose hair from underneath the coat and gets rid of all of the undercoat. It’s easy, even my grandkids do it. It looks great. The hand grip is wonderful and comfortable in your hand. The dogs don’t seem to mind it either the round tips don’t cause any damage to the dog or anything else.

The two brushes I have used so far are both good quality. The handles have a solid grip and do not feel flimsy, and the brushes themselves feel sturdy enough for regular grooming. The slicker brush is especially useful for removing loose fur, and the push button makes it easy to clear the hair from the bristles once you are done. The grooming rake is also useful for getting through thicker areas of fur and working out small tangles. I have not used the flea comb yet, so I cannot comment on that part of the set. For the brushes I have used, the build quality is good and they are comfortable to handle. Having three different tools in one set is also useful for covering different grooming needs.

As the owner of 2 Cavalier King Charles, we know grooming and brushing is a big part of being a dog owner and we were looking for a complete set that we could use at anytime to make our lives easier. This 3 pieces grooming set is very nice. The brushes feel well made and sturdy and the handle on either tools is quite comfortable and provides a non slippery grip. The de-matting tool works wonders on our dogs' thick coat and really help in with the shedding as well. It also helps getting rids of knots and the such quite nicely without too much of a hassle. The larger flat, self cleaning brush works really well on the ears, chest, underside and anywhere you want to simply comb out easily your pet's top coat. The self cleaning option is a nice addition and is easy to use to quickly clean up the bristles. Overall, this is a great set and it is definitively seeing quite a bit of use here!
